The entire point of this game was to give Ace Combat 7 a chance at becoming a reality. It allowed Project Aces to raise some of the funds needed to make the game, and also prove to Bamco that there were still people who wanted to play new Ace Combat titles. This was never meant to be "the next Ace Combat" or anything like that. It was basically a fun fundraiser.
