Ace is the original Kiss sound... It's a credit to Ace that he sounds more like Kiss than Kiss does and yet be so Independent of Kiss in his success and sound. He truly was and is that sound and influential of many of todays guitar players.

If you listen to the albums before Dynasty and Unmasked you will hear it..... As well as on Ace's solo albums. That is why i made my statement that Ace sounds more like Kiss than Kiss does. No disrespect to Paul... He carried the band for many years due to Genes neglect to wich a great drummer, Eric Carr, did not get the recognition that he should have had. But that's another argument for another time.

In the late 70’s me and my two older brothers used to dress up like KISS. And I was Ace Frehley. We had all of there albums. Big fan. Never got to see the original members. Did get to see them a few years ago. Good. But not the same as the original line up. Now I have to see Ace in concert. Some day soon. Can’t wait. See you soon Ace. Keep on Rocking.

I saw Ace in 92 in Atlanta at the Roxy... Pantera played Lakewood that night when we got to the show at 11:30 after work there was three tour buses out front.. my good friend Martin(RIP) was like who is with Ace tonight.. Guess who??, Dimebag and Vinnie was there playing with Ace I met all of them after the show got Vinny and dimes autograph met Aces guitarist The Emperor after the show and went and partied across the street with him and drummer. . greatest moment was, Ace came in the door at 3:30 or 4 A.M only one seat at the table between me and my friend Martin and he sat down between us... I bought Ace a Diet Coke and I'll never forget my buddy Martin had Ace laughing all night telling him jokes my friend always tried to make people smile and laugh ....those were good times

Okay I Saw My first kiss concert in 1978 I had all the kiss makeup I had everything and I was a huge Ace frehley fan and I bought my first prototype or look-alike of a Les Paul from JCPenney for buck nickel something and yeah you're playing and amazing if ever I followed you forever Ace and you totally are the s*** you're the bomb you rule and I always looking at how you're holding your pic in your style when most of us play with their fingers out and you're always curled up and then you do the funky little riffs to go spins and Hammer offs and something you are a legend in my pocket and I appreciate you and everything about you godspeed be say peace to you

I have to give Ace a lot of credit for still plugging away. It must be hard to watch Kiss playing all these big arenas and being close to billionaires while he is playing these small venues with a modest net worth for someone who was in one of the biggest bands in the world. Really sucks the original Kiss couldn't work out.
