I can understand why she left the business, she wanted a normal life! Just read comments for any AOB video and most guys are asking her to marry them, while the rest are stepping on their tongues raving about her beauty. No question about Linn’s talent or beauty, but everyone is different and I believe she just wanted a normal life, to walk down the street without people fawning over her. To go to a restaurant, or even buy groceries without her every move documented. Even now, 20 years later, people are still fawning over her, or writing stories that she had a mental breakdown. Leave her alone, let Linn have a normal life.

@@187onasimp Maybe, but there are a lot of combination factors with Linn between her attractive features, her style, voice and everything altogether that makes her magical, even in her gaze, and this is probably why much of the attention and marriage proposals and what not got way out of control. Linn is very spiritual and also not an ordinary blonde by many measures, even among other Swedes. There are many beautiful and chiseled Women out there, but they may just look "there" with nothing memorable after their glance.

Según declaro Jenny hace poco su hermana Malin no desea cantar ,ni ser famosa ,por eso se retiro en los noventa,dice que nunca quiso la fama,y que es muy feliz con su vida anónima,incluso pidió que eliminasen sus imágenes de las redes sociales para ser totalmente desconocida.Increíble en un mundo donde todos quieren ser ricos y famosos, ella que es impresionantemente bella y tiene talento para cantar ,componer y tocar teclados,no quiere la fama,tal vez por eso siempre tenía los ojos tristes,una pena si lo pasaba tan mal,si ahora es feliz me alegro por ella,pero la echo de menos,ella era realmente el icono del grupo,sin ella se acabo Ace Of Base,lo que duro después fue la agonía,por eso no los dejo antes,pero fue esfumándose poco a poco.Que seas muy feliz Malin.

Exacto, Linn nunca quiso cantar, a ella le gustaba cantar pero no ser cantante, sólo lo hizo para complacer a su hermano Jonas, quién necesitaba voces femeninas, por cierto, él es el genio del grupo quién componía e hizo que Ace of Base llegue hasta dónde llegó gracias a su esfuerzo, viajó junto con Ulf por Europa tocando puertas, hasta conseguir su propósito. Lo de Linn es una pena, pero fue tan buena hermana que aceptó formar parte de Ace of Base a pesar de no querer ser cantante. Ahora es maestra de lenguas y artista plástica, se casó y es felíz.

Живет в посёлке пригороде Гётеборга, Утби, в небольшом домике, рядом проживает ее брат буквально через дом, на одной улице. Мама живет через улицу от них, за церковью.

It’s no wonder she left the business, changed her appearance and her name, when you read some of the comments on here! It’s quite unnerving - just go and get yourself a real girlfriend (if you can) there’s no harm in having a ‘crush’ on an unattainable pop star, but nearly thirty years after they were at the height of fame - get a grip. She has a partner and at the time of the attack by a German ‘fan’ on her family home in the 90s, both she and her brother were not there as they were with their respective partners. I can speak from experience of having an ‘admirer’ that turned into a stalker and the effect it has on you and your relationships. Go on and enjoy your life as a private citizen Linn - good for you on turning your back on all the madness. What a strong woman you are!

+Robert Price That incident was far from the only thing that made her want to leave, but at the time it was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back, as the old saying goes, where the music industry itself was concerned. It really upset Jenny, who wanted to record the song (and did so first), and angered Linn, who as we know did not and was forced to. Generally they had never been given the respect they deserved as successful artists, with the record companies for example always talking to Jonas and Ulf behind their backs and getting the guys to help try to manipulate the girls into doing things other than what they wanted. Forcing Linn to perform the song instead of Jenny--completely against the wishes of the singers themselves--was insulting and humiliating. It was also a rejection of Jenny as the lead singer, which was the desire and intention of the entire band, including and especially Linn. They had never designated a lead singer before (Linn and Jenny were viewed as equals), but their choice was to name Jenny the official lead singer, with Linn's full support. The record companies were trying to force Linn to be the lead singer, though, when what she wanted to do was quit altogether (but couldn't because of her legally binding contract--not without penalties for all of them, so she stayed). Anyway, I kind of hate to say this myself, but Linn's rendition of "Everytime It Rains"--performed in a single long take under protest--is stunningly, hauntingly beautiful. It's too bad that the circumstances weren't better for Jenny and her, but out of all this negativity, a thing of beauty emerged regardless. And yes, in all of her singing, Linn really seems to have a perfect sense of how to use her accent in the most appealing ways, along with the other little flourishes she adds. Clearly this was all deliberate--instead of trying to minimize her accent, ignore it, or fight through it, she used it to maximum effect, occasionally even exaggerating it whenever it would sound good to do so.
