What a year 1972 was for a 9 year old kid like me growing up. Programmes like this and glam rock. I feel incredibly fortunate to have grown up in such a time.

I remembered that theme song as clearly as if I'd last heard it yesterday - I miss those days, life was a lot less complicated and the music was much better.

I know I watched this as a 9 year old. I know it made a big impression on me. I could have only seen each episode once. Crazy how 50 years later Tarot has taken up such a relevance in my life. No such thing as an accident, seeing it today at 22.22.

Wow. Never seen or heard of this before. Was filmed in Watney St, Shadwell where I was born (in the white hi-rise block) and grew up.

Thanks for the upload of this clip! I'd bought the DVD series on the strength of this clip, and spent the first two months of this year watching them and loving it! Great show, very enigmatic!

Wow! !What a blast from the past. I loved this T.V series . I think all of the people making kids programes in the 70'smust have been on Acid, still I enjoyed them all. Thanks for posting this classic memory.

The first three minutes of that have no dialogue whatsoever, and is a real slow-burner to boot. They weren't afraid of losing their audience in THOSE days!!

Because of how rare this series is, somebody should post the episodes here, now that the youtube time restrictions have been lifted. More US viewers should know what this show was despite it was just one season/series left of any of it.

YAY! Add more clips or pieced out parts of all the episodes of AOW on KZbin PLEASE!!! There had been nothing much here for 3yrs and I think this show is just as importaint in British Sci-fi/Fantasy as Dr Who and the Tomorrow people (which replaced Ace Of Wands)

Petra Markham also featured in 'Get Carter' the year before. Her acting at the wake was excellent. It was a small part but played it brilliantly.

Ace of wands its hard to believe it was a children program its definitely better than children's programs they make today. I think hes appearance was stolen for Tom Baker for Doctor Who a few years later except for the silly very long scarf of course lol

Wow, such a high standard for children's TV - another one that could have been written for adults. The only episode I remember was one called Joker, where there was a spooky tune being played, possibly from an ice cream van, that had an effect on the kids. Anyone else remember that one?

Watling Street, Shadwell- it was given a 70's makeover probably whilst this was being filmed- but maybe even creepier today
