Hello Mihir, You sure can assume the value of n as 100. You can do that because the question asks for no exact values and nor does it give any exact values. It is all in percentages, fractions, and ratios. See you in more sessions! Best, Shweta

Sprint 1 Q2. Why did we subtract b intersection C, there is nothing common in the probability of them completing their books right

My thought process for Sprint 1 - Q2: The question says what's the probability that AFTER attempting 2 quizzes, he fails to get into D3. Since it's explicity mentioned that 2 quizzes were attempted, I take it for granted that D1 has been cleared and that event has already occured and therefore ONLY the probability of him failing D2 is to be evaluated, which is (1-0.7^10) Can somebody please help me understand how my thought process is incorrect here? @egmat @gmatclub

it can also be the case that he gave the D1 once, failed and then gave it once again you will still get a total of 2 quizzes taken
