Ace the ASVAB: Paragraph Comprehension Practice Test

Remember this: If you graduated from high school, you should be able to pass the ASVAB on your first try, as long as you spend a few days to about a month preparing for it. The tutors who try to persuade you to sign up for monthly test prep courses are, in my opinion, dishonest and almost certainly just want to rip you off. Have you ever taken your car to a dishonest mechanic, and they tried to sell you services you didn't need? They are those guys! If you stick with free and inexpensive resources, such as buying a test prep book from Barnes and Noble or Amazon, you will almost certainly NOT have any issues on test day. Happy holidays!

Grammar Hero I just wanted to sincerely say thank you so much for your educational videos. When I went to my recruiters office and took a practice test I only scored a 15. Just got out of MEPS yesterday and passed with a AFQT score of 53 thanks all to your videos! I am able to do my dream job in the navy and become a CTT. Thank you so much ! I just passed the practice ASVAB/PiCAT for the enlistment process and scored 67. I used many of your asvab/picat study videos and am grateful that someone as yourself takes time out of your day to tutor people here on youtube for free. The arithmetic reasoning and the mathmatics was a bit tough for me as I am joining a few years after being out of high school. Thanks again.

Hey Grammar Hero, I just wanted to stop by here to express my gratitude to you! Wanted to send you an email but I couldn’t find it! After long months of entry processing I finally made it in, just currently waiting for a ship date. You do not know how much you’ve helped me alter my life and my family’s future. I came from a family who extremely struggles with financial and education. Joining the military to help them alter their perceptions will not just stay in our family for this generation but to the next generations as well. I agree. You have PLENTY of time to read the passages on this test. Read first and then attempt to answer the question. This isn't the SAT; it's the ASVAB! (it's waaaaaaaay easier.)

Hello grammar hero! I took my asvab on tuesday the 16th, and it was my second try, though i passed it, it wasn’t enough for the job i wanted, I passed it with a 33, My first score was a 9, gee what a embarrassing score! haha, Now I have to wait 6 months, I just wanna say thank you for helping me triple my score cause, This time I’ll be studying like crazy and will pass it with a 80 or above!, Your video do help me cause, I’m legit BAD at math, and have terrible ADHD so i forget a lot, I’ll do my very best to pass my last try, just like David goggins haha

Sir, please help me, how can I get to a 110 GT score? I continuously making 32-49 on your practice test. It’s like I know how to answer equations/problems given to me but with word problems you have to understand or set up the equation yourself which is what I’m finding trouble with. Please help, I really want a 110 GT score by the end of January to become an officer. Sometimes I question if I am even worthy of becoming one if I can’t solve basic math. I am enlisted and unfortunately I can’t go through BSEP course at this time.

I have trouble with overthinking and not retaining. I want to say it’s also because I will not take breaks until I “understand” some of your videos. I see so many testimonies from your channel and want to become one. I may just be studying your material wrong..

Why don't you call a recruiter and ask to take a practice test in his or her office? You have nothing to lose by taking the practice test.
