Hey Sweet Academy - Just a big shout-out to you guys. I passed my CA M/C knowledge test the other day. Initially, I tried taking the test without preparing, but failed. I quickly realized the exam isn't all that easy. Your channel was a great help getting me through the exam. Question 10 is tricky because A and C are both correct according to the DMV handbook. 10. Swerving to avoid a hazard you should, A. Break before swerving. C. Separate breaking from swerving. Is it really A or C? Answer A implies that you separate breaking from swerving but answer C doesn't indicate in which order they should occur and would be inappropriate if you swerved first. You guys said C is correct but I'm pretty sure A is the correct answer.

If you enroll in an MSF course, you will be exempted from DMV skills test. Otherwise, familiarize yourself with the course, visit DMV during weekends (when closed) and practice extensively. Repeat the course multiple times. Taking advantage of DMV's less crowded weekends will minimize distractions. Additionally, DMV permits the use of smaller and lighter motorcycles like a grom for the skills test. Consider borrowing one from a friend if possible.

Update: I PASSED FIRST TRY!!! Everyone please use this guide!!! I never opened up the handbook one time just kept studying these videos and the questions and answers are WORD FOR WORD if you in Cali atleast…took me no more than 5 min to finish the test and passed with a score of 100%!!!! Cut your study time in half and just watch and memorize the answers and you will pass!!! Great vidz I hope this helps others as much as it did me!!!!

If you're referring to the third question, The single valid answer is "C," which is "push left, lean left, go left." If you wish to turn right, press right, lean right, and go right, you are correct.

Yes. According to DMV, "you will be required to pass the driver knowledge test, motorcycle knowledge test, knowledge test(s) for any other license class(es) requested" - C & M class in your case. If you've already been driving a car, I woudn't worry too much about the driver knowledge test. Choose an answer from the driver knowledge test by asking yourself, "What would a safe driver do?"

I took a test today for my motorcycle permit, to my surprise i thought that I'm only going to take just the motorcycle exam but at the dmv they told me that i need to take the car exam too, their reason is that it is my first permit here in u.s. Is it required procedure of getting a permit here in California?

Unfortunately yes. DMV website explains... "You will be required to pass the driver knowledge test, motorcycle knowledge test, knowledge test(s) for any other license class(es) requested, and pass a motorcycle skills test or obtain a Certificate of Completion of Motorcycle Training (DL 389) as defined in the California Motorcyclist Safety Program Training Course section." Terrible practice test. Look at question # 17: You plan to make a right turn after stopping at an intersection. Usually, it is best to turn from which position of the lane? This BS test says the correct position is B: The center portion. Really? Sounds like a good way to get killed quickly. Don't believe me? Look in the 2024 DMV Motorcycle handbook. Not a word about "The center portion"
