They say that victory is sweeter after overcoming adversity and defeat. They'll try to remain successful until their identities are known and their achievements are etched on their tombstones. You're familiar with Pablo and his brother Josue's lyricism, notably Pablo's use of metaphors and his desire for listeners to apply logical thinking to understand his messages. I also loved how he uses maruya; many Filipinos, particularly Filipino Americans, don't know what maruya means, so they will strive to learn and figure it out. It's another way to share a little bit of our culture.

Maruya... this is a fresh delicacy known for its freshness and sweetness, a type of food as merienda or snack cooked and immediately sold to people around streets or to every Filipino household. In SB19 ft Sarah G song Ace Your World, the bitter, sad and challenging bad experiences as stated in the song tells that those (bitter sad challenging bad experiences) will be turned into or changed into something new and sweet and that which should not disappear literally. That is why it is compared to sweet tasting maruya when cooked is crispy and sugar/caramel sweet, tasty to the bite. The one who'll buy and have it and taste it will surely be delighted to enjoy eating. Not so good experiences of those who are dealing with bitter experience in the past should take the will, initiative and action to transforming those kinds of experiences into something which could positively help motivate, change and innovate to fuel themselves to better their future and the future. To think about it, it is really a sweet tasting powerful conquest of those who craves for victories to triumph every life battles!

This song is on repeat at the moment for me. Really reminds of Linkin Park. So, yeah, just another genre that #SB19 just dipped their toes into: RnB then Rock. I'm not really sure now if there's anything they can't do. Maruya definitely made sense in that line. Re: Maruya Maruya is a sweet chips type of snack made by crushing bananas. So they are basically saying that all those things pressing on them and putting them pressure, they will make it sweeter with success.
