For those wondering whether this song is a remix or not, this is an original song made for the arcade games. There are two more versions for The Power Battle using both CPS1 and CPS2 boards. This song was later reused for Rockman Complete Works 1 in Wily Stages 1 and 2 (when remixed music is turned on).

I don't know why they used a brand new soundtrack for this boss. The original Yellow Devil from MM1 and MM3 had very good music

Or how about you go back in time and just live in the 90s. Even if that was possible, it wouldn't really change a thing especially since there's plenty of good nowadays and Modern Capcom isn't 2010s Capcom anymore so let it go and move on.
