No actually when Pakistani flag was being discussed moon was proposed and people discussed it was setting moon not rising moon and so on crap like Pakistanis think seriously back then Bangladesh was East Pakistan so they suggested sun but Pakistani constituent assembly denied it saying moon gives calming light while sun gives scorchio heat I can't remember who said that but later when Bangladesh got freedom they got green colour as nature and red circle as sun laying foundation for secular democratic country which is not going very well
