I was 21 & moved to Huntington Beach in 86’ , it was a wild time to be there! Everyone was walking around with huge boom boxes blasting Metallica, Anthrax, Guns N Roses, & Slayer. Dark tans, women in g strings & drinking pitchers of beer for $3 under the pier. Going to LA on the weekends & clubs around OC. Everything was Metal 🤟🏼 , thought it would be like that forever 😢

Harpo's Detroit, a very small venue with chalkboard walls and every band that plays there gets to sign their logo on the wall anywhere they want with colored chalk. That's awesome, I got to sign the wall with chalk then hair spray over it to keep it there for "Violent Faith" they never made it as big as skid row but they were great and had other jobs but Traci kurbusky was the singer, Dan Puckett on the drums(was my man) those were the days, it was a small place but had everyone's signature on the chalkboard walls, amazing.

I helped build tracks They had a lot of good shows there. Also performed at bookies on several occasions. Hung out with Madame x and Phoenix the original lineup. For a couple months when they were hanging out at rockers

as a singer myself, i truly think it has a lot to do with the specific way he sings so high + loud. ive noticed that when i sing his songs, i stay in the upper mix/head register a lot. and when i do that long enough & loud enough, even just for 30 minutes of singing, my normal speaking voice sounds so much higher when i go back to it. my lower register is basically impossible to access, and it stays that way for the rest of the day ! i think sebastian doing this for decades has made his voice permanently higher. its worth it tho in my opinion. a voice that good is bound to demand some sacrifices lol
