What I'd be interested in seeing is a run where the player is never allowed to upgrade or change aircraft for the entire campaign. Never add any upgrade part, never change aircraft or special weapon from the moment of taking off from the runway in Charge Assault to exiting the windbreak in Dark Blue.

You play the game smooth lol I'm flying like a maniac hahaha beat the game twice one in hard mode with expert and one with ACE mode with expert lol it twas a very good game lol but I was hoping they bring back Co-Op where you can score the highest and fight a mini boss I just hope they bring that back because I think battle royale and Team deathmatch is boring.

I played the original Ace Combat and missed every title in the franchise since. I got the AC5 pre-order bonus with AC7 because this generation has been all about spectacular comebacks. I'm loving this game much more than I did back in the 90s--the storytelling is just so sincere and earnest!--and the action is thrilling, but I'm a terrible pilot. I have nowhere to anchor a HOTAS so that's unfortunately out of the question. Maybe I should reduce sensitivity?

As a person who mainly loves AC4 and AC5, this game is actually pretty good. Sure, the soundtrack isn't as iconic, and maybe the story isn't either. But the game actually feels like a remake of AC4 and AC5. To my surprise, this game is the most shipped Ace Combat game in the series with 4 million shipped. I can see why, because this game seems to bring back a lot of nostalgia while being unique in its own right. I think this game is probably the third best Ace Combat game, just behind Ace Combat 5. Ofc, Ace Combat 4 is the best, but Ace Combat 7 is up there, maybe not as great as Ace Combat 5. But hey, it's good!

The game looks awesome and all, but will they ever drop the AC5 formula? It just feels like an ac5 with a slightly different plot and few more things added to gameplay. By the way, you're real smooth with that plane and I loved the camera effects you used (like the missile camera)

You say it like it's a bad thing to start as a mute unknown pilot in a losing war, become an ace and symbol for your people while feared by your enemies, turn back the tide of war by continuous operations that shall include things like finding and defeating a nemesis, destroyinh a giant cannon, flying through a canyon and a tunnel, destroying ground targets to support a land assault and so on.

AC04 is a formula that you can't go wrong with and since there was a 12 year gap between the mainline games, they needed to reignite the flame in our hearts, so AC7 is just comeback of Ace Combat, but next one will be genuinely new, packed with new ideas and concepts. They needed it as much as we did, so it perfectly aligned.

They bundled AC6 with the Xbox One pre-order, and they bundled AC5 with the PS4 pre-order. It's because they never made a PS3 version of AC6. Maybe just be happy?

With doing that you can crash if the fight gets to to low altitudes. Without it you can avoid that plus mid air crashes and such. Some people simply don't like that.
