@@dabidooo It was a complete shamozzle when I arrived 😅 The self serve counters weren't working and there was only one counter open for the visa on arrival with no system in place to know the order of service. The latter wouldn't have been a problem if people were able to form a straight line, which we did initially, but a few started to push forward and suddenly it was an unorganised cluster and people started to get annoyed at the ones who pushed ahead. Eventually a second agent opened up who assured me it wasn't usually so chaotic. All in all it was relatively straight forward. Disembark, follow the visa on arrival signs just before customs and transit hotel desk was to the right of the main information desk near the exit :)

Hello, I have a doubt I have read in some posts that the stopover in China back does not let you fly because they ask you for a visa even if it is transit, I think it is in the country of departure to your destination with stopover in China, how was yours?

I have read that almost all nationalities are allowed to have 24-hr visa in entry in China as long as you have an onward boarding pass. I booked a roundtrip ticket from Dubai to Philippines and both have long layovers in Guangzhou. Fortunately, i did not have any problem entering Guangzhou twice.

zafiro hilton no need to get a transit visa. You can follow the sign for connecting flights, you will have to pass the inspections gates before you reach the boarding gate for you next flight. No need to go through immigration.

Philippine passport holders can get 24-hr free transit visa as long as may onward boarding pass cya to her final destination and through China Southern airlines ang flight niya. May kasama ba mom mo? its better kc may kasama para may mag guide sa kanya.

@@reggie8859 once you arrive at Baiyun international airport, you will have to get your free visa entry first and then proceed to China Southern airlines desk to book your hotel. Note that you must have a layover for 8hrs or more to get the free transit hotel stay.
