My mom got me one as a gift and it looks pretty good so far. My biggest complaint is that, unlike any laptop I've ever owned, the touchpad doesn't allow me to two-finger scroll with my thumb and index sticking to each other (which I do commonly, but the top thinks I'm clicking haphazardly instead) and even when I'm just moving the mouse around, it'll slowly slide too far a bit after I've stopped. It's like my sausage fingers are confusing the poor touchpad. Since it's supposed to replace my main computer, I think this is a pretty big deal, and the reviews I've seen so far keep mentioning that the touchpad is precise, which makes me think I got a jank one.

Thanks for stopping by. I honestly don't recall playing around with the pinch to zoom stuff, but I remember the overall trackpad experience as being pretty good. It behaves like any other. I think you may have a faulty unit then, it might be worth raising the concern with them. I always end up using my Logitech MX Master 3s with every laptop, as I can't stand of these trackpads for any real length of time. I hope they get it sorted out for you.

Thanks for stopping by. I think it would struggle a bit with it, especially if you're running a local instance of SQL Server on it. It can probably handle Visual Studio okay, but the SQL services and any API's you setup would struggle. I code on a P series 13th gen laptop, and even it struggles from time to time. I would probably go with something with higher spec'd CPU.
