For my last sculpture of 2020 I’m making The Ghost of Christmas Future from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol! This phantom creature was a lot of fun to make along with the small diorama I added for his base. Watch me make his armature, sculpt him from polymer clay, and paint him with acrylic paints!

The fact that he resembles the version in A Muppet Christmas Carol (aka the best adaptation) just makes him even better. I love how you used an empty hood to portray the fact that he's faceless, very cool

I agree too, that was the best adaptation, but the overall appearance of the Ghost isn’t like the muppets adaptation; it’s like the book describes it. That’s all.

Hey AceofClay - could use more D&D type fantasy sculpts. Love the horror stuff, but really love your Ogre Warrior and Medusa sculpts. What do I suggest? Maybe a Fire or Frost Giant? Maybe an Iron Golem? Maybe a Chirmera? Anyway, your work is awesome. Cheers and happy holidays!

I have to disagree that seeing his grave is what makes him change his ways. It's the culmination of seeing what his actions and greed can cause that makes him change. The death of Tiny Tim, seeing how happy people are over his death. Then, of course, realizing that riches in coins leaves him alone and dead, when he could be rich with love. That all said, this was a lovely piece as always. I really love all the little details, like the texture on the fabric.
