Saw that and cringed. These guys come across as clueless idiots who are just luck boxing their way at the start of their careers. Also, he said at one point he bet half pot when it was much closer to 40 pct. I know maths are hard but ... Do a little more work when you put out a video. 😊

nice vlog, btw KTs is never a fold 100bb+ deep to a standard 3bet when its BTN vs BB unless you know for an absolute FACT that BB only 3bets KK+ and is going to bomb the flop 100% of the time

Is he? Or is he just a fish on a heater to start their poker career? I think Doyle said the difference between making at as a poker player and failing is to run hot at the start. I know pros who have gone broke (Brad Owen) and come back from it but I believe those who start fast are the ones who stick around.

New Watcher but in the first 30 seconds I heard you say without further Adu which is what Mariano always says and then when you flop trips you say bang which is what my buddy Wolfgang says I'm still watching snd will subscribe because I enjoy watching vlogs but need to come up with your own shtick😅.. you'll learn after playing 30 years like I have that it's best to not get too high when you're winning or too low when you're losing poker can be very brutal at times most of these vloggers have not experienced the Dark Side of Poker where for months and months the cards just don't come your way eventually everybody will that's the only way to find out how good you really are.. how you handle those downswings..Do you tilt an lose more..are you still able to play your A game at all times no matter what..that's what separates good from great players..

AA hand. The limp reraise to 220 after 80, (and two calls) should probably be more like 400 or larger. Just my thoughts, lemme know what you think. I assume that’s why you went 3 ways to the flop in this 3 bet pot.
@AcePoker444
@AcePoker444 Жыл бұрын
Totally should be larger

When you’re opening to 60 and the SB is 3betting to 230, that’s not “massive”, it’s less than the standard 4x

Limp raise to $220 when 3 other people are in the pot is poor sizing
@AcePoker444
@AcePoker444 Жыл бұрын
What would you have chosen ?
@ppmaster04
@ppmaster04 Жыл бұрын
ok. I guess it’s all depends on stack sizes as well so I can’t technically say it was poor sizing. There is already $265 in the pot including your $20. I think if you make it like $300, it would be $220 for them to call not knowing if 1-3 players will call. $220 just seems so small considering there could potentially be 3 callers and already $265 in the pot. So they can call for $140 more. Potentially going 4 ways to a flop is dangerous with AA. You really need to find out who has worthy hands potentially going multi ways. I would have put $275-325. But that’s just me. Luckily $220 worked this time. GL
@nicholi2789
@nicholi2789 Жыл бұрын
I agree. I’d have made it like $325 or $350. Maybe even $375.

At 4:09 why are you betting turn? Makes no sense. At 2:57 its raised to $30 and you make it $80 and you said you don’t know why you “went this small.” It’s 2.5x, which is standard? I don’t know your thought process here on why it’s too small. Then at 7:55 with FOUR callers already at $80 you make it 2.75x to $220 only? I’m making it at least $320 (80 x 3 plus an additional $80 for the 4th player). But I’m likely making it $400. At $220 you’re giving them great odds to call. I want one caller at best with Aces, not 3. If I make it $400 and they all fold I win $240 without even seeing a flop if everyone folds.

“It’s like my cards on my forehead” I don’t watch you a lot but you don’t seem to mix in lots of bluffs or obscure plays. Best way to get paid is to be unpredictable. Seems like the table just knows your playing above your bank roll and aren’t going to get out of line

I mean based on this video while I would normally agree, when the table is super aggressive tightening up and trying to see flops is often the most profitable strategy in my limited experience. Cant out crazy crazy.
