You know what, I do not have any info. This was not my laptop. It had and overheating issue that caused the computer to shut off. Now it has worked fine with out any issue. But yes I should have taken before and after thermals.

I have the same laptop ,I cleaned it and repaste it but still thermal throttling in games alot (I used MX4 thermal paste)

is your fan OK? Did you check is it GPU or CPU that is getting hot? You can try under voltage on the the one that is getting hot.

I am having issues with mine. The CPU is getting over 80 C pretty quickly. I just cleaned everything and repasted it, still can't play Civ 6 for more than a minute before it shuts down. Fans still have a clicking sound but spin freely, possible the fan is bad?@@modernfix1

I wanted to undervolt but because intel is so greedy i cant, because they locked it. I dont even have my laptop a month and im already experiencing thermal throttling. Stop buying acer laptops!!
