I think this might be the best way to build a laptop. As somebody who would be using the laptop for years. Having a decent under voltaged laptop that lasts very long is pretty good to me. I don't want to have problems in the first year of buying. That wouldn't be pleasant.

How are you getting 105w tdp? I tried upgrading predator sense, no help. Sometimes i see 90-100w tdp for fraction of second, then it goes back to 80-85w. My cpu is mostly around 70-75c and gpu 75-80c. Turbo wont push to 105w either. Did you update bios?

@@smitverma9491 I know, but on windows 11 upgrade, it was not going at 105tdp on turbo or performance mode, that's why i asked, i reverted back to windows 10 and its reaching 105tdp. Now i think windows 11 rolled out 2 small updates, they might have fixed most issue now. I play on custom profile, most games are at Default mode with custom fan speed but few heavy ones at set for performance mode.

No, there no dynamic boost. But in game like warzone u can use settings.. reflex low latency more + boost, it can help I guess boost GPU draw

I have the exact same model of Predator Helios 300, but I am dealing with a ton of thermal throttling. My CPU is always 90C+, with boost mode on and a laptop cooler as well. With the throttling in mind, my performance is a lot lower.. Can you please make a video showing how to undervolt the CPU on the latest version of the bios?? Notes: I too have a dual-channel RAM of 16Gbs. I have lowered the processing power from 100% to 98%. But thermals are constantly 90+.

this CPU in stock ( no undervolting) Only what I did, it updated Bios to latest version. Your CPU has this temps in all games?

@@WuxingGaming I think the bios is up to date, since I updated it right out of the box. As for the CPU temperatures, it seems to run hot and needing of boost mode on certain games like: R6 Siege Battlefield (4 and 5) Warzone (obviously, but to note, this game actually reached 100°C sometimes.) If I try playing these games without turbo mode, FPS will chug as I'm playing, which is signs of throttling.

Can someone help me? I have the ph315-53 model with rtx 3080 and i7-10750h and it is clearly holding his power back. Generally It performes worst than all the model with rtx 3060 and is wattage is the most under 80w, i upgraded to dual Channel (32gb total with a bit of improvement) I updated Nvidia drivers set all to "max performance" but It doesn't changed anything, I don't know what It could be. P.s. with dual channel it became playable (in some games I reach 60fps but they are not costant and should be a lot more) but the performance are a lot under what they should be

You don't need 12th gen for Rocket League. If you just wanna play Rocket League you don't need an i7 either, get an i5 or Ryzen x600 and a 3050/3050ti and it's still more than strong enough.

@@user-tb6bi3zm4f взял другой ноут, но примерно из той же категории, экран фулл хд, как по размерам сказать, не знаю, видеокарта греется на 80-86 градусов примерно так же процессор, играл в Rage 2 на ультра и Borderlands 3 на ультра настройках в 90+ фпс, это с включенной функцией от мси, чтобы было более лучше охлаждение в играх, взял, к слову, msi katana gf66. ну и впринципе из минусов пока что скажу, что поставили довольно плохой ссд за такую цену, шумит и нагревается, но это уже скорее дело каждого, я играю в наушниках, ноутбук на коленках на подставке небольшой, и даже при таком условии почти на 80% оборотах вентиляторов ноутбук почти не слышно, если мешать рядом некому, то еще нормально. взял свой ноут за 1079 евро, полностью согласен с такой ценой. если еще есть вопросы, то можете задавать, возможно смогу ответить, хоть конечно и спрашивали не от том ноутбуке

I would go with the 3070 if you can. It will futureproof it more. I could only get the 3060 for a good price on the internet. I get the impression the 3060 will hold up for a while. Most games still look good if you lower the setting some. Right now, you can run most games on max settings with a 3060.

So, I've been using this laptop for 2 months now, I can say I'm more than satisfied. Max temperature it gets while GTA 5, Elden Ring or renders in Cinema 4D with Redshift is 82 with turbo mode. Fps in both mentioned games is around 120. Although, it has risen to 100 twice but again, turbo mode is a beast.Yeah it's very loud but I'm used to noisy environments 😅
