I own the 4500U version. Battery is really good on low-power mode when I’m just light browsing. Can play e-sports games no problem like League of Legends,Valorant,Rocket League,Team Fortress 2, games similar to this,not AAA games. For $550-$700 USD it definitely punches above its class because of the performance of Ryzen 4500U/4700U compared to $1000 Intel laptops. But when you do use this Swift 3,it definitely does not feel premium but it doesn’t feel cheap.Very easy to carry at 2.65lbs. Screen is average,but I wish it was better. Like I have to use 60%-80% brightness all the time because the screen is so dim. Trackpad is plastic but its still very smooth for multi-finger gestures or scrolling. Fingerprint works 100% when using tips of finger,not the whole fingerprint like Apple Touch ID. Again worst things about this are the average and dim screen and the plastic-feel of the build,everything else is really good on this Swift 3 for the price.

Hey, Andrew. Good to see you again. You're right that this is a reasonable laptop, given the caliber of the processor, quality of the chassis and the input/output. The inbuilt mic has a bit of an echo though, the screen was quite the compromise and the battery is quite small. But it did pack quite the punch in battery life, which was quite impressive. Thanks for another pristine review. How was the move?

I think this is in direct competition with the hp pavilion thats also comes in a 4700u version. The specs are nearly the same for both, except that for price or upgradability hp wins them since I built one on hp.com and you can upgrade ram and storage if you want on their website or diy. I like the aluminum body they have so it feels more premium, but its a little "heavy"

Very good laptop for the price. Like the easy access to open it to do upgrades. The only down side of opening up this unit is the soldered in memory. Camera seemed good and sound was okay. I wonder do you know if they offer this unit with 16 Gig? Anyway as always another great review.

The only reason why I forgave them for using soldered and RAM is because at least they put decently fast 3200 megahertz dual channel ram.

Thanks for the video. I just purchased this laptop to replace my Dell Inspiron13 7000 series which started crashing regularly after the Windows 10 Update. Do you think I can reset it to the factory setting to prevent the crashes? It keeps asking to restart due to time and date setting or it says BIOS problem. Again thanks for the great video!!

@@berfin2892 yes it does actually but only when gaming ,make sure there's enough room for air to pass.then again heating is expected with only one fan and minimum air vents ,it's not a gaming laptop but I play plenty with it and heating is not a big issue for me,just keep it on a plane surface
