The Triton series laptop is basically a slimmer version of Helios series laptop. But there is only a small difference between Helios 300 and Triton 300 cuz Helios 300 itself is relatively slim too. So, in other words, Triton 300 is a slightly slimmer version of Helios 300. You'll only see substantial difference in their thickness when you start comparing 500 and 700 models of both series.

I've used 2 generations of Helios laptops. I am disappointed at Acer this year for not putting Ryzen chips on these laptops. If they would stick with Intel at least make the usc c thunderbolt compatible.

A poor update on the previous gen. Don't buy. They have made the footprint of the Helios bigger - why oh why oh why? Those refresh rates screen numbers are just silly number chasing - the refresh rate makes the difference. I have the Helios 300 17" with the RTX 2070 and I7 - it struggles to cool both. Note they have added more ventilation on this version. A major problem with the previous gen is that they vented hot air out of the sides and fried your hand - they have left this feature unchanged - it sucks. Battery life too, is dreadful - why no larger battery option? I also think an SD card reader would be nice for those of us who make our living using our computers creating content - these machines are often chosen by us due to their power. I would recommend the 1660ti version - the chassis can cool that GPU nicely and performance is fine, particularly with a bit of under-volting etc.

lets go talk about a new problem now... shall we? hi , lets go discuss about a common problem nowadays that being the black crush/green or yellow tint/grey uniformity whatever they call it... phones affected are mainly with oled panels starting with the s7 edge to newer ones the pixel 4xl, oneplus 7t, oneplus 8 pro, apple 11 series and XR, samsung galaxy s10 lite, galaxy a71,S20 ultra, vivo z1x, even lg too. Some get replacements with no issue, others get with same issue at different part of display and some are chased away by the service sectors. Is this really an issue? i find it more like maybe individual semiconductor leds with different characteristics are responsible for this... if it is, what people should do about it and what should the companys do about it? some say a software issue, some say hardware issue and some on the other side says it a bit of both... some faces it after ios latest updates rolled out... some android users finds it just after unboxing... this issue is seen at 5 to 30 percent brightness at grey backgrounds commonly noticed in dark mode example apps like chrome, whatsapp, instagram, samsung internet with network being off etc... now thats a bummer right? common problems are addressed in reddit, xda forums and even samsung community when you go google it under screen green tint issue. Are these some random QC mistakes or screen calibration issues? Whats your opinion? Do we have to live with it or will it get even worse in the future?
