How to replace the "touch Screen" only (NOT LCD) ??? The touch screen glass is available as spare part BUT I can find any video clip showing how to separate it from the LCD screen . The spare part Digitizer glass comes with 2mm wide double sided glue tape.

The touch screen is bonded to the lcd with oca adhesive. It's just not realistic to separate the two parts. You have to buy and replace the touch-screen and lcd as an assembly.

My screen is still working fine, I only get lines through the screen when it's in a certain position,. does my whole screen need replacing, or is it a cable that is faulty ??

I know this video is oldish so I don't know if I'll get a response, but I'm trying to fix my mother's screen, it only turns on when the lid is open on certain angles. I assume it's a loose wire somewhere and I tried disconnecting the video cable and putting it back in to make sure it's tight but it didn't seem to help. Do I need to replace the entire wire that connects the computer to the screen?

Muy buen video, como comentario adicional puedo decir que una cosa es que se rompa la pantalla LCD y otra es que se rompa el digitalizador, ambos se pueden cambiar independientemente, en la mayoria de los casos he visto que se rompe o raja sólo el digitalizador que es la capa más externa, eso provoca que no puedas usar la función táctil y en algunos casos no te permite usar la laptop porque todo se bloquea, yo mientras espero la llegada del repuesto DESACTIVÉ LA FUNCIÓN TÁCTIL (desde administrador de dispositivos) y puedo usar la laptop sin problemas. El táctil lo compré en ebay y me costó 33 dolares incluido envío. Si observas que la rajadura es superficial y puedes ver la imagen detras, entonces es sólo el digitalizador. En estos dias me llegará el digitalizador y gracias a este video espero cambiarla yo mismo. Saludos y gracias.

gerrard rozo Hola, demora aproximadamente 30 dias, lo compré el 14 de setiembre y justamente hoy 10 de Octubre ha llegado a mi domicilio. Es muy fácil comprar por Ebay o aliExpres, yo encontré mejor precio para este producto en Ebay pero puedes fijarte en ambos desde tu pais (precio de producto + envío) sólo fíjate bien el modelo. Saludos Pd. También fíjate cuanto puedes importar en colombia sin pagar impuestos.

+gerrard rozo Estimado, recibí el táctil ayer y lo intenté instalar, te cuento que es muy difícil separar el táctil (digitalizador) de la pantalla, en mi intento terminé rompiendo el LCD y todo fue un desastre... Cuando intenté separarlo se rompió todo, bueno averiguando me dicen que se debe hacer con sumo cuidado, la verdad no se como, me han explicado que es un trabajo muy delicado (con hilo de pescar, con bencina...la verdad no se) te recomiendo comprar todo junto la pantalla LCD con el táctil, que vienen juntos y armado listo para colocar o en todo caso intentar separar el tactil del LCD con alguna técnica que yo desconozco. Al final tuve que comprar un LDC slim de 30 pines de 15.6' y armarlo usando el marco y el digitalizador que compré por ebay. Al final todo quedó perfecto y funcionando a la perfección. El LCD lo conseguí a 52 dolares en Lima y el digitalizador (táctil) me costó 33 dolares con todo y envío desde Alemania, si compraba todo completo armado por ebay me costaba 105 dolares. Igual me di el gusto de hacerlo yo mismo... Suerte

+Damian Symons Unfortunately, you may not. A touch screen laptop display contains a touch layer (the digitizer) and the display layer (the LCD/LED panel or screen). If both parts are damaged, you will have to replace both. Thank you

Hi, I have a Acer V5-572p 15.6 multi-touch hd led lcd, do you sell repacement screens for this model. Also would the proceedures for replacing it be the same as in the video. The issue i have is it appears the led back light isn't working. You can see the lecd screen throught the touch panel and it all work fine apart from the back light. Can you get a replacemt led??

i bought an entire complete screen replacement. and i noticed a difference my new one had silver foil strip near bottom under the circuit board...i was VERY CAREFUL.. my question is my laptop isn't recognizing it, I put back the cracked screen n it worked fine.. so why is the new one I got not working.. it is perfectly compatible...( i would think since it absolutely identical except one thing... the inside has a more of a metal shell holding that on top of the back of screen or white part

Help! if you can! Last year my laptop fell off and some parts included peaces that holds a screen are now broken E5 571. To make it work again ,can anyone confirm that I can buy laptop casing of either of V5 571 or F5 571 model and I could fit my hardware there? Is there as well a difference if I get a case from E5 575 or V5 575 or F5 575 models? I need to be sure before buying those spare repair casing. Is there anyone that can confirm that I could fit my MB from E5 571 to any of these? Thank you

NEVER use a razor to perform screen/digitizer disassembly. Use a pry pick/bar.

yes just remove and buy LCD screen but you need to be careful in buying LCD or LED screen bcause other LCD screen have different Number of PINS just like this kind of laptop 11.6 inch may some 30pins or 40pins
