I really hope the ZZZ writers have the courage to do straight romances and not just fanservice. I'm willing to give money to this game if they dare to do that and don't get influenced by frustrated fujoshis or incels who spend all day on the internet spamming their sexual fantasies. Ayaka and Aether have so much potential in Genshin for example, but there's no courage in Genshin to make it happen. And so there are more couples that are quite obvious but they're afraid to make something more canon, even if they're romantic options like in Persona games for me that system also has narrative consistency in the romance. I hope that this couple here isn't just fanservice and at some point something more canon is seen.

And no, you don't have to do the harem nonsense, you can do the Persona system, where out of 5 or 6 candidates you can choose the one that seems best to you as the protagonist's romance.
