Just come off a training ride of 103 miles, my local Chiltern 100 course, and your workshops are so measured, informative and reassuring. I was getting a little worried that I haven't really got close to the advised 3 x 5 hrs rides a week schedule. But at 65 that felt a little too much, with occasional sore knees etc. Most reassuring bit of advice? - get to the top of Galibier by 4pm. Unless the wheels really fall off I can't see myself taking that long to get there - I hope!! Thanks for a very useful presentation.

Hi James thank you for the feedback and the kind words. Glad to have been of help. One can't really expect to ride the Marmotte at 65 the same way youngsters of 40-50 ride it ;-) Sounds like you have got things under control: well done. Good luck for the last 4 weeks: don't push too hard and above all don't get injured. Come see us in the event village in Alpe d'Huez, we will have a coffee for you!
