I occasionally watch old AH videos and compilations and it doesn't cross my mind until I see the comments too.

I agree many actors/creators have come out in a bad light recently but to throw away hundreds of hours of content that you enjoyed is giving the situation too much credit. No matter who it is or what they are alleged to do the content history will always exist. To fuck over compilation channels and even AH themselves because someone went behind their back is wrong. We should support all the compilation channels and the AH network even more now.

Id rather watch compilations with ryan and AH videos up to 2019 with him and Geoff over a majority of the new content. Ryan was in thousands upon thousands of hours of videos and content. First of all, I've only said he was a shitty person. I didn't specify what he did to make him a shitty person. Next, I still admitted that he still has the ability to make me Laugh Out Loud. And C., unlike a lot of people, I can _separate_ the content from the creator. To me, "Ryan, the guy who did those shitty things, not illegal, but still shitty things" *_DOES NOT_* have to be "Ryan, the Achievement Hunter who has dark humor, can throw knives, and keeps cows under his house".

I still watch Ryan's twitch archive channel. The character deficit hurts in the different personalities he brought to different games. It was nice to see a clip of them playing together back in Nov. He went through a rough patch as his choices caught up to him. But it is nice to see him on twitch doing Ryan things. Hope he comes back to streaming. This is my opinion. I've grieved and understand what he has done, the people he used and led on. His family he put at risk. But he's still 8 years of my life. He's still Ryan.

Before anyone decides to thrown their aggression towards those who feel uncomfortable or need trigger warnings, due to a certain person in the video, I would like to explain something. You do not know what someone has been through, you do not know what may or may not be causing someone to need a trigger warning or some extra support, so please be respectful of their opinion and right to speak out. What Ryan did is disgusting in many ways and anyone who does not see a problem with a 40 year old grown man, engaging, coercing and manipulating young women and minors into sexual acts, is a part of the problem. The fact that AH removed him from all aspects of their work and personal life, speaks for itself as to how serious the matter is. You may not agree, you may not understand, but please respect other people and do not spew hate towards them just because you don’t think it’s ‘serious’. Spread love.

However, you stating that I am a problem for trying to support those who need a Trigger Warning against people like this, is in fact the actual problem. Yes, there are people who lie and manipulate the narrative to either make their victim look like the abuser, to gain money, or attention etc. It does happen and we cannot overlook that. Having said this, the percentage of people who lie against those who are genuine victims, is incredibly minuscule. Your words are attempting to diminish the experiences of many, which is incredibly dangerous. For you to say that I am taking away from those who are sexual violence victims, when I am a victim myself and have spoken out against my abuser; furthermore, using my platforms to support other survivors and spread validation wherever possible, is disheartening. This is exactly what I mean when I say to respect others and tread carefully when spewing hate towards people, because you simply do not know. We all think differently, we all feel differently, we all see things differently, and that’s okay but what Ryan did is not. There is no scale to say whether your experience is valid or not, there is no comparison or judging panel; every experience is a valid one, it matters and it should always be listened to. Seriously. I don’t care he cheated on his wife and I don’t view someone who’s banged 18 year old thots a sex offender. We as a society have acknowledged that 18 is the age you’re old enough to give consent to a sexual relationship. Your mental health is your responsibility, not someone you met on the internet. The stories of him “preying” on women with mental illness astound me. These women accepted money, gifts, plane tickets, and sexual favors from a man they knew were married but apparently get a pass of any guilt because they have depression and were therefore manipulated. Even though they’re young adults in every sense of the word. Amazing. Seems like only men are treated as adults at 18 and face consequences, I swear.
