That's an interesting concept! In his grief over having to kill his best friend, Grian is vulnerable, open to corruption, and a evil watcher takes on his guise and pretends to be his conscience, which, in his sorrow, he starts to believe. But Scar, certainly not willing to let his best friend be taken by the Watchers again, intervenes but spends what time he had left in that world to protect Grian and also soothe his pained heart before at the end they both move on peacefully.

I'm coming back to say this is my favorite animation I have no idea why but its still scar's face at 0:50 that is making me come back each time I need to genuinely ask how do you draw something with so much emotion, it's so beautifully drawn and I'm really inspired, I wanna do this edit: should I cave in and get procreate, is that what you use? aww tysm!! for drawing stuff with emotion, i think it's just how my brain works. i can visualize scenes and emotions pretty easily, and i start feeling those emotions myself when i draw them, which i think helps. when i'm drawing an expression and start feeling that same emotion inside myself, i know that i'm getting it to a good point. I've also been in theatre for 7 years and i have developed a strong feel for becoming a character and feeling those emotions as I act them out. i think that has definitely helped me with my imagination towards projects like this. and yes i use procreate! I just use their animation assist feature for everything and i use the brush pen under the calligraphy set for all my sketching and lineart (and usually color). I will definitely be doing some tutorials at some point, i just don't know when unfortunately :( i'm not sure how to get all my stuff to get set up to record, and i dont have a whole lot of time to figure that out right now, but it will come eventually :)
