I pictue Achilles holding Patroclus in his arms, seeing what he has lost and seeking to avenge his lover because that is all he believes he can do. But just before he puts on his armor, the same armor that got Patroclus killed, he looks longingly at his sword. And as he stands at the edge of no return, sword drawn, he hears the one voice that he has always loved whisper to him that he must see life as a worthy opponent. When he kills Hector he is not satisfied. When he drags his enemy's body behind his chariot he is not satisfied. When Hector's father pleads for his body he is surprisingly not satisfied and feels worse. In his last battle, a sword catching his heel, he is finally at piece when he takes his last breath with his eyes glued to the sky. He knows he will see Patroclus soon. Achilles is not willing to live for his lover but he is willing to die. It feels less dangerous to love when he is greeted with a heavenly embrace. For the first time since Patroclus closed his eyes in eternal slumber, Achilles feels alive.

I am 20 and am now dating the love of my life, studying at the university I was told I wouldn't get into, transitioned (no surgery just HRT for now), and am about to pursue law school. At 16, I had just escaped abuse and homelessness and due to my PTSD was experiencing psychosis. It. gets. better. It will take so much work and time but the biggest mistake of my life was almost giving in. I still struggle some days but I am thankful for the morning sun every day now. It was the summer again. The humid hair was causing Nihulia's short hair to curl up . She was already running late ,but again punctuality was never her thing . She checked the stolen pocket watch and cursed as it read half past three. Cursing was her favourite hobby afterall. She even sworn , much to the dislike of the King and Queen Ashburoeith , that she would make cursing compulsory in her kingdom when she was the queen because why should she shut up just for the sake of men ? She gathered she skirts and ran faster through the narrow road , pushing past the people of her kingdom who failed to recognise her due to her dressing unrealistically shabby . Nihulia was wondering about how much trouble she was gonna be in... Suddenly a hand shot out of from the narrow side street and yanked on her collar. "What in the name of Votus.. " She quickly turned around and caught hold of her attacker's hand when she felt that familiar voice in her ears . " You are late again "

He whipped his head around, as he thought he heard a voice addressing him. there was nothing, only the stone walls around him. He turned back to the huge marble statue before him, he got to his knees and prayed to the gods, begging them to help. begging them to give him hope once more. Just then he heard the voice again, it echoed throughout the temple. It was clearer now, he could make out someone calling out for him, begging him not to give up hope. Though he could not see who was addressing him, he could feel his hopes rise and he felt like there was more than one solution. He continued to listen feeling more and more joyful. the echoing voice cut out then and was replaced by a harsh voice. this voice hurt his ears and seemed to slice his skin open. This new voice tore him down, pushed him to the ground, and filled him with defeat. Just as he was about to give in, the harsh voice cut out and was replaced by the hopeful voice from before. It urged him to not give up. though the boy was lifted by these happy words, he still felt the heavy words of the man with the vile words. Now the voice cut out again. instead of one voice this time, both of the voices echoed through the empty temple. The vile voice made him bleed while the hopeful one rushed to cover the wounds. The boy, now weak and bleeding fell to the floor. The nasty voice then disappeared, his job done. the soothing voice rushed to try and motivate the boy into getting back to his feet. he could now hear an edge of panic in the optimist's voice. The boy did not want to get up and try anymore. He was tired. The evil has won, there is nothing the good voice can do. the voice weeps as he feels the boy give up.

Let me give a POV (Pls don't kill me, this is just a PoV I'm catholic too so, pls don't get too offended) : You're in Paris. Along 15th century France. The time where people were strictly religiously Catholic. Yes, and suicide was a sin as it is now. You damned them all, their God-loving rules and guidelines, the church controlled the people for their selfish desires, depriving people of money by raising the 10% offering and making it mandatory saying "it was for the church" and you were the leader of a revolution against the church however they stopped your army, those who were left went into hiding including yourself, the most wanted while the church hunted you down like ungrateful rats. You were tired of it all, "If there is even a God, how can he let this injustice go?" And that was when you decided. Your final act of revolution. Right there, on that goddamn cathedral, the Notre Dame cathedral. You were gonna commit the sin in front of them all, in front of the goddamn ‘God’ they so worshiped. And then as you stood atop, you shouted to their attention. ‘To thou people below! To thee running to my arrest! Behold, I am the rebel! The one thou art seeketh forth! I detest thy church! I detest thy followers, I *resent* thy God! Such injustice! Such deprivation shalt never be upon us! It relies on the decision of thy people. Let this day be imprinted upon thou all! I stand my ground to my very death.’ And with your final words you embraced gravity and accepted death. It was never the ideal way to create a movement but it was enough to shock the people, to open their eyes to the reality. They fought against the church until justice was bestowed upon them. A thousand years came by and you were reincarnated, it was the same, life filled with shit the want to die but the difference is, there were different problems. You walked across the Notre Dame Cathedral, it was empty and you were drunk, you wanted to end it and as you stood atop the cathedral, you thought it was your imagination but felt the feeling of standing there oh-so-familiar, and at a distance you heard the cathedral play somewhat a song that wasn't what you'd expect to hear at a cathedral echoing, the message hit you dearly. You stared at the night sky of france and wondered "how can a cruel world hold such beauty at the same time?" and as your heart quenched in pain, you closed your eyes letting the tears fall down as you took a breath. "It looks like there is beauty after all. I guess I'll have to see all of it" //I don't know how 15th century france had anything to do with this °-°//

For some reason I imagine Achilles running through a crowd towards Patroclus who’s about to be killed. The crowds not fighting either, they’re just walking in the opposite direction.
@tacosmakos46134 жыл бұрын
Achilles probably felt like that🤧 like the fact that Patroclus died at the end felt like no one was there to save him and just LET him died

Her long, white ball dress waved in the wind, as she swayed to the music, thinking about her lover, she continues to dance to the tune playing in the gigantic and majestic ballroom. She looks through the stained windows, and sees the fire inching closer, she knew she was going to die. But she continues to dance. Elegant and gently, she continues to dance to the music, not a single care in the world. Her moves match the music perfectly, noone can judge her neither would do so. She looks out the stained window and sees the darkened sky, no clouds to be seen. She sees the fire inching closer quickly. Her dance ends, she closes her eyes, and she feels the slightly distant fire linger on her skin. She takes her last breath, the fire of the atom bomb swallows her, the music stops.
