This is how we lose our finest brains. There’s a high possibility he’s not going back to Ghana after school because they’ll still discriminate against him because of his hair. He will just remain in the US where he’ll be accepted for his brain and not for his hair. I’m glad I supported him when his issue popped up.

Ghanaian school lay too much emphasis on baseless things.imagine he hadn’t fight for this.when I was in the university in uk.People get their nails done and also leave the class when it break time.high school girls get make up done to school, mini skirt and also thought how to make and a lot.Nursing school in Ghana some school will refuse mature girls to have wigs on.If you have the opportunity to leave ,leave.
@franciskwofie67542 ай бұрын
So what is the point? Yes, societies need to improve. That is UK and this is Ghana. We learn certain things from the best. Nursing schools in UK is not boarding and not funded by the state. Talk of private schools in UK and their restrictions. Think of boarding high schools in UK and their restrictions. Schools in Ghana are mostly funded by the state. Private boarding schools in Ghana do make up, style their hair if they want. Doing make up and styling your hair in whichever way you want is not maturity. We have mature women who do not do make up and still rock their natural hair

What u said Clement it’s 💯 true…I remembered when I was in SHS, my teachers had a certain ill perception of moslems in the school…to be frank, the Moslems in the school had a bad record till I came in the pic…changed the narrative that NOT all moslem students are bad..I performed exceptionally, though I was struggling..my teachers noticed me and realized I was struggling to come to sch cos of lack of money yet I still excel in my exams.. they gave me a helping hand, bought food fr me, and helped pay my fees which my parents couldn’t pay…today, I’m doing soo well and at higher levels in my education..thank u soo much to my teachers and the headmistress who never gave up on me🥰🥰🥰🥰 Anyways, congrats to mah guy🥰🥰🥰

Master, in uk primary school and secondary schools have compulsory school uniforms system in place for pupils and students and children receive detention or sent home for none compliance with school rules, including school uniforms and hair styles which are not allowed in some schools. I have four grown children who are born and raised in uk so I know what I’m talking about. I’m not an old student of his school but what I know is that the school didn’t have any issues with his academic performance but for him to comply with school rules so stop what you saying on your big platform, rules are rules. I am sure he will be complying with all the uni rules outside Ghana irrespective of him being very academic
