This is a cool way to look at it. I noticed though that you designate Vn as the design action, however ACI 318 terminology uses this for the nominal capacity. I got a bit confused with that.

David, I think I use phi Vn but I divide by the phi in the first step. I agree it can be a little weird. Thanks for the comment!

SIR wether we need to count the formwork weight in design of slab and beam of RC structure if not then why what are the ACI LIMITATION why we not counting them because they are so heavy concentrated loads which is applied to the slab
