Derek, I had not heard this before. I had never paid attention to the writing credits on the first Bloodrock album, which might have led me to the Churls for Timepiece. Good to know the connection now. Thanks, Chris

The Churls are definitely underrated and I agree they should reissue the first album it’s not easy to find even living in Toronto.

100 cheers for ALTERED STATES, a very undervalued movie gem, but I guess it's kinda good for a ego, I meant to say it's nice to be in like 10000 alive people who seen it. Here in Serbia, maybe it sounds unbelievable, but AS is a long known legendary acid movie ( my first movie seen in a " state of higher perception " ), and it was like with all those old good music, or art of any kind really - older guys passed knowledge by listening or seen something together. Belgrade was cultural metropolis of this part of Europe, but since the ex-YU wars and afterparty, well... It still is, more or less... That was last " pre-internet " time, I mean it was still early days so from time to time, there were sanctions so I had to find a way to get knowledge I wanted. Lucky, I met my " real fathers " and they slowly passed bands, movies, books etc. like kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZa9gZtqobajlZY or definitely these days more popular: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWndi4Suo5qHh68. Anyway, I really liked your channel, keep up all the good work!

Hmmm..., never heard of 'em, but for some reason, the samples on the video intro have a bit of an early Alice Cooper vibe to them. "Eighteen" springs to mind.

Hmm, I don't hear much Cooper. Good rockers here!

I've only been aware of this one by reputation, but never listed to it. Certainly don't see it much. Canadian psych records are always worth taking a listen though. That is a great sub-topic, though would be quite extensive

It's a good listen! Quite the sleeper for an A&M release.

The Churls is such a bad band name. I don’t look like that homeless looking dude. I’m not feeling too good. I need to churl.

Agreed haha. Oh okay, must've been someone else that dude reminded me of. Looks like a looser!
