Here is my list of suggestions.. - Jim Grant - Cathy Wood - Any one from the Big Short - Peter Schiff ( mostly cuz i think its a rite of passage - He is impossible to interview ) - Zoltan Proszar ( I probably mis spelt his name , check out some of the Zero Hedge articles about him for research ) - CEO of Relativity Space, and any of the other Interesting Space companies. - Anyone from the All In Podcast - Someone from WEF ( just cuz I think this will get attention ) - Y Combinator People You should have a much higher sub count. Your content is solid, better than some of the 1m subs accounts , you seem to get very good interviewee's .. I would work on marketing, seo, and alternative media.

The original sin was keeping rates too low and letting inflation get out of control - where they had to raise rates fast and now the dominoes are starting to fall.

He's just very intelligent. If he were not so intelligent he would be failing but he is thriving instead, highly successful. He merits close listening and investigation. He uses metaphors because they are able to communicate the essence, rapidly. He doesn't get bogged down in jargon and obfuscate. I heard someone from Yale, a researcher recently and he had not factored at all the exposure of the banks to the commercial property market. This is such a colossal error I couldn't believe it, but his interviewer was so in his thrall he let it go unchecked. This kind of thing happens all the time, but HH is a very smart guy and worth the effort to try to understand. His taste in music is also excellent from what I've just heard.

Regards AI: There is a fundamental principle in information theory that everyone is ignoring. There is only a finite amount of information to be derived from a set of facts. IOW, there is only so much existing information in a set of facts. AI can only make use of the facts it scraps from reading Wikipedia web pages, or wherever else it scraps web data. To propose tha AI will create new facts is to project that dialectical can actually synthesize facts via intersectionality, which is impossible.

Our only hope at this point is to exercise fiscal discipline. We need to reshore too, but the rest is secondary at this point. If we can lower the deficit we can keep our system. Not sure it’s possible politically but I hope so.

Did you listen closely to what Hugh Hendry was saying? Because I don't think that is his conclusion at all. Listen again, I urge you. Also turkeys don't vote for Christmas, and it's not reasonable nor possible for people, ordinary people to shoulder the burden for what is essentially a banking issue for the rich. That is not palatable at all and or should it be.

The official unemployment rate of 6.0% is somewhat misleading. It does not count the people who want a job but gave up or all the people with part-time jobs that want a full-time job. It also ignores all the people who dropped off the rolls. To get a clearer picture of the unemployment rate many people look at what is known as the U-6 number which stands at 10.7%. It will be interesting to see how many of the remaining 8.4 million jobs lost come back considering many small businesses have closed forever.
