Also on the second chorus he does hold notes in place of some jacks which comes right after the part where he coughs, showing he is actually getting tired, and from that point on bf either has the same part as him, or a much harder part, cuz he's getting clapped with maximum bars and efficieny

I love the storytelling in this song specifically. You can really feel Metro getting tired throughout it. - 0:33 is where the fast parts begin. Metro gets 2 turns of while BF gets one, showing off in a way, before the duet at 1:04. - At 1:25, they do a fast duet, however by the 3rd repeat, Metro takes a quick break by using a long note instead of a fast rush of notes like what BF did. - After this, the two do differing things, with BF focusing hitting a lot of notes while Metro tries to take it slow with long notes, before finally culminating in 1:46, where he coughs(?) and BF begins to sing the chorus again while Metro does background vocals. Even when Metro jumps back in at 1:58, BF is doing an incredibly fast rush as he sings. - At 2:08, Metro and BF take a slower tempo, but even then BF still takes a majority of the notes for the section. - Finally, at 2:51, Metro plays his last note with it getting weaker and weaker, signaling his defeat, and BF takes this opportunity sing the chorus 2 turns in a row as a final sendoff to the song. Truly one hell of a song.

Better is that just before, Metro tells if you can keep up. Then you exceed expectations by not just keeping up, but overtaking him because as you said, you stay in the lead the entire time while he's stuck in backup chorus.

I always thought the “cough” was Metro going “UGH!” in frustration. Since you’re not only keeping up with him, but outplaying him. Other than that, I totally agree with this.

Man holy shit is this so good man..... in-game even more details arise like how GF and Maku both cheer their respective quarterback and at 2:50 Maku stops cheering while GF continues because he's essentially won, or how Ace is just looking all 😳in the background watching his lovers and loving every second of it. Plus the inclusion of the crowd in the instrumental is the best, Especially when Metro starts pulling out it almost sounds like the crowds cheering BF's name as he pulls ahead. Wonderful! nothing else but astounding!

At time of writing, I stand by my stance that "Overtime" is the best of the mod, followed closely by "Preppy." That said, I've been listening to this constantly for days, and it's giving the crown some funny looks. XD (EDIT: There has since been a coup, long live king Acidiron. XD ) I especially love the storytelling at 2:51- Metro's little groan here says so much without saying a thing, and it all blends perfectly into the music.

This mod is truly the best of its kind, not only are the visuals and characters superior to most other mods, it also shows how great the music for this game can be if a really skilled musician is working on it ^^

Coming back to comment and say that I'm happy the IPU songs (even if only a couple) have gotten some modcharts added to them. Especially Acidiron, which was already my most replayed song of any FNF mod, period. It's got just about everything I could want in an FNF song: a banging instrumental that not only acts as a good backer, but is also one of the best instrumentals to listen to on its own in FNF; fantastic atmosphere that makes it feel hype as all heck; a fun chart to play with varied patterns that's still a challenge to come back to; some of the best vocals I've heard in an FNF song, especially for BF; and a story that it's telling with all the different elements it has available to it with no dialogue whatsoever. Now all backed up by a simple, not too obtrusive modchart that only enhances the experience and adds to the hype. Though I do have one thing I'd change about it to make it even better. I really do like Metro's notes disappearing and pulling BF's toward the center of the screen, but I think when it does that isn't the best spot for it. Instead of having it happen around 2:30 when Metro hasn't quite thrown in the towel yet, have it happen as his voice is fading out and BF is left to do the rest of the song. It'd be a nice visual indicator that BF had *really* stole the show during the song.
