​@@SajadAnsariphenyl act as -I effect this is like this compound is already beggar due to positive charge and phenyl keeps on withdrawing electrons and ch3 act as +I effect it keeps on donating electron and reduce its positive charge and third one due to crowding its stability decreases

​@@aasthagoyal1003No actually you are wrong as resonance is way more dominating effect in comparison to inductive effect and also it is a purely planar compound as you can see there are only sp2 carbons in it so there is no crowding at all, this result of b being more stable than a is an experimental data based on enthalpy change.

Sir there is a correction I would like to introduce 48:38 Sir here as you have already proved that carboxylic acid is more acidic than phenol then this reaction will not be feasible but you have mentioned (by mistake ) that this reaction will be feasible . Z11- c(resonance from two sides)>b(resonance from two sides but +I from bridge carbon) > d(resonance from one direction and no +I)>a(resonance from neighbour oxygen and +I from bridge so least stable) and this compound follows bredts rule as it has x+y+z=9 so splitting to an extent is possible

It was yet another amazing session (1:11:09) Z11 (c>b>d>a) my reasoning being: c and b have 3 reso structures (here bredt's rule is not violated) so they are better than d and a as they both have 2 reso structures but in b and a there will still be some strain due to which they will have a bit less stability.

In homework question resonance is possible at both a and b acc to bredts rule Hb has more resonance (discontinous but more) than Ha Hc has less +I than Hb but same resonance Hd has less +I than Ha but same resonance So acidity order of h is : C>B>D>A

Z11 - c>b>d>a reason b & c has equal number of resonanting sturcutre and a & d has equal resonating sturcture so (b&c>a&d) now in b&c c more stable and in a&d d is more stable

14:53 here for G question, if we check electronegatvity then F>O>N>C so it means that F is less likely to donate H than O and so on. Also acidity depends on willingness to donate H+ ion right ? So shouldnt order be ulta

Here you are confused I guess... Electronegativity is the measure of an atom to keep electrons with itself not the H atom.... Also as you see since F is highly electronegative so F minus ion is highly stabilised....

​@@vedanteditz2006 Reason for sp2 acidity less than sp 3: sp2 carbon can pull the electrons away from the H more strongly, it means that the H is more tightly bound to the sp2 carbon than the sp3 carbon. This makes the H less likely to leave and form H+. On the other hand, if sp3 pulls the electrons from H less strongly than sp2, it means that the H is more loosely bound to the sp3 carbon than the sp2 carbon. This makes the H more likely to leave and form H+.

sure but quasi is still aromatic na? quasi aromatic literally means that a charge makes it AROMATIC, it aint different thing, quasi is just a special case
