I think it is important to be informed before starting any treatments on your skin, such as consulting a Dermatologist or watching informational videos. Also, it is important to know your skin. Always start slow with your skin care. I am brown and I use a Retinol Serum, Niacinamide Serum, and Glycolic and Lactic Toner at night and a Niacinamide Serum and Vitamin Serum in the morning and my skin is great.

Do what works for you. Retinol is way gentle than tretinoin, so I understand. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and routine. It will help a lot of people😘

I do not use acids or tretinoin or retinol on my skin unless they are already formulated in to a cleanser, toner or moisturiser. I'm 42 and I always had dry skin. As I've gotten older, it's gotten more sensitive. My face is the one thing that I cannot hide.(apart from surgical/pandemic masks) so I treat it carefully.

Always learning new things from you and I enjoy watching your videos because I feel like we have the same skin type and m repairing my skin barrier so I can start adapalene...you can use the acids on your body or your hands or legs instead of throwing away
