1. Is yolk of egg acidic or basic? The yolk of an egg is slightly acidic. It has a pH typically around 6.0 to 6.5, which places it just below neutral. 2. Is blood mixed with tap water neutral? No, blood is slightly alkaline, with a pH around 7.35 to 7.45. Tap water can be neutral or slightly acidic/alkaline depending on the source. When mixed, the solution would likely be slightly alkaline, not neutral. 3. What happens if the strongest acid mixes with the strongest base? When the strongest acid (e.g., hydrochloric acid) mixes with the strongest base (e.g., sodium hydroxide), they undergo a neutralization reaction. The products are typically water and a salt (e.g., NaCl). This reaction releases a significant amount of heat (exothermic reaction). 4. What happens if the weakest acid mixes with the weakest base? The reaction between the weakest acid (e.g., boric acid) and the weakest base (e.g., ammonia) would be relatively slow and mild. The resulting product might be a weak salt and possibly water, but the reaction might not go to completion due to their low reactivity. 4. If bases are bitter, then why is toothpaste a bit spicy? Toothpaste contains flavoring agents like mint or peppermint oils that give it a "spicy" sensation. Although toothpaste contains basic ingredients (e.g., sodium bicarbonate), the "spiciness" comes from these added flavors, not from its basicity

BAKING SODA USED THEN AFTER BAKING,TASTE IS A LITTLE METALLIC BITTER,BECAUSE BAKING SODA AS A BASE/ALKALINE INGREDIENT HAS A NATURALLY BITTER TASTE.
