The crown 5002vz is a bass amplifier and never design for low mid, 5002vz bass 3600vz low mid crown 2400 high mid crown 1200 highs and crown 600 tweeters ,i have a friend that work with crown and he is the one that got some crown amplifiers for me and he told me that's the line up but if you want to do it your way it's up to you.

This is so immensely great to see Classic put together with todays gear Lovely interview and yes reeeeeeeeeal sound man reason I say this & no disrespect to any is I can't remember the last time I heard that saying 2x2x4 Wow Acid no can say you ain't helping all because you are in a unique way and you always say it's not about you, it's bigger than you that's one thing you've always said.....that is noble & humbling respect These interviews alone show the like of myself & probably many others we can all learn things. Golden Harp is an original classic sound with today's quality added. He's right also if it ain't broke to follow to fix it as you may never get it back originally. I also like his honesty on mic, there's no shame and makes him no less of an individual but it's more respect for honesty. I like everything about this sound especially the history and the naming of it with history respect and bless. If I may add also to mention another e.g. "Extreme Vibes"with honesty as well, for me your integrity remains high And I concur that saying also there's something about extreme Vibes the way it's put together, I did watch that interview also. The AST scoops and all the speaker cabinets were built by Dynacoustics in N.J. By George. I personally still have eight of them loaded with RCF L18p300. All of us soundmen back then get ripped off by AST. Big up Acid.

The VZ Crown 5000 you're saying you use them for low meds company I work for we use them on Subs reason for it because of the slew rate Crown 5000 and I think there's another couple of type of amplifiers that have a fast slow rate to operate some frequencies but then again also we were using 8 Crown 5000 to run Subs alone then we use Crown 5000 to vizi 5002 running meds but we were only running a three-way system I guarantee you 8 VZ Crown 5000 running Subs I guarantee you will be like thunder those single scoops they're not going to be able to produce the kind of low frequency that you would need you would need a double 18 box that can handle that that amount of power does Peavey lowriders that everybody is talking about this is the secret to those lowriders those TV lowriders need to have two running at 4 and you going to have to use a single Crown 5000 add amplifier with the same amount of power it cannot be a front-loaded box it has to be a inverted box I wish I could show you designed but I don't know how to go on KZbin and show you stuff but anyway Peavey has a similar box is a similar box that I'm speaking of is 218 inch drivers pointed anywhere at an angle that box is 30 inches deep by 4 ft tall by 24 inches wide it runs at 4 Ohms at 5000 watts of box the drivers the Peavey drivers Center in question running 2500 w per driver I guarantee you you buy those drivers build those boxes I guarantee you nobody will touch you you get a dbx drive rack to run your amplifiers the trick with the dbx drive rack is you're able to go into the drive rack and tell it what apps are running what and it will send the frequency signal to those amplifiers to best run them for what's being ran you're using the QSC to run mid to tell it that it will send the correct frequency to run that ticket amplifier if you look into the drive like you will see all the different mix of apps now it does have a setting but it's kind of like you're going to have to make it up for yourself that unknown amplifiers but you're pretty much running an industry standard amps make no mistake about this I was running if you were running too MTL full boxes and you wire them boxes to 8 ohms and I know a lot of people say that's not possible but it is I will try to explain it to you you wire two drivers you are two drivers in 4 Ohms Inside the mtl4 Box so once you wear each two sets of drivers in 4 1 Center drivers you going to hook the positively to the other set of drivers you're going to hook the negative lead to now to join the signal together you take the positive side of the positive wire you go to the negative side and take the negative side and hook it to the positive side of the other two drivers in the negative cable is running on a negative side of the other two drivers so basically what you have to do is crossing over so I'm going to say it again

The peavy lowriders do sound good. My problem with them was that the wire leads would break when i pushed them hard. Purchased replacement baskets and the same thing happened. The wired leads needed to be longer..now this was years ago..maybe they corrected the problem. After reading some amazon reviews on the peavy lowriders, I found there were some people who encountered the same problem. They sounded really good though
