ACIM: How to Distinguish from Authentic Creation vs. Illusion of Self

ACIM: Chapter 3 Section VII.
Which image are you portraying? The authentic Creator that you are or the Self Image you protect?
This section begins by making it clear that "Every system of thought must have a starting point." That being said, is not the entire Universe a thought made manifest from the mind of God? Is not your image made in the image and likeness of God? God's thoughts made manifest and you are His creation.
It's clear that you are to think as, from the point of Creator, and create as your maker also. Because it has been entrusted in you to do so.
