Congratulations Bristol City on winning back promotion to the top flight. Also for announcing that Ashton gate will be the permanent home for men and women’s first teams. They join Southampton, Leicester City, Sheffield United, MK Dons, Reading, Birmingham, Barnet / London Bees, Birmingham City, Kilmarnock, SC Freiburg, Parma, Le Havre and every single club in the MLS / NWSL.

About the ACL issue: I know this is Sky Sports and not a science programme, but there is obviously data out there about how many ACL injuries there have been in each season. And the research on it is probably publicly available too, yet we are just given vague personal impressions and 'don't really know's about it. You could actually look it up and do a bit of research, maybe even a brief interview with the researchers, otherwise everyone is just left in this limbo of not knowing what is going on. Which is kind of the opposite of the point of journalism.

The ACL issue needs to take precedence and priority in the women's game. Research and action definitely need to be proactive measures to limit these type of injuries...

It's nasty for sure look at Chloe Kelly, Beth Mead, Viv Madama, Jordan Nobbs for example it's awful to see. They should do so much than research though totally agree!

​@@LingLiu2014 Considering that it was bad in the eighties for the Men's game and has had the necessary research done to combat this situation leaving a lot to be desired for the Women's game

Research? Women's legs are angled a bit outwards and women are more hyperlax than men, meaning more motion at the joints. These things put women's ACL at a greater risk. Nothing new, plain ignorance.
