I’m trying to accrue three of these bad boys but they have a rather lofty price tag and Everytime I get enough dough Three modules always seems better than one lol so far I only have one but it kicks enough ass for the time being lol

Nice Demo! Can you please explain how you did the sound around 4:25? That would be really kind :).

I made this video long ago and I don't have the original to check exactly what I made. It seems I synchronized the Multifunction VCO with another one and I modulated the sync threshold (and the modulator vco) with envelopes and finally I passed everything through the Discrete Core Ladder filter

Thanks, I will try to figure it out when mine arrives, I just asked because especially this sound made me order one :)...

@@poeply :) congratulations. This is my favorite analog VCA. Mixing the main and the sub oscillators combined with PWM or Sync is an amazing sound design source.

This thing is a beast! Surprisingly it fits really good with my Odessa :)

How did you get that phaser-y sound at 5:09-ish? Is that just pulsewidth being modulated through the filter or something? It sounds so close to a phaser if just playing sound and not watching screen. I need one of these so bad, goodness gracious..

I think I used a wavefolder for this patch ;)

What is in your opinion the major difference in sound with variable sync vco? Regardless the features, just sound wise.. thanks

They pure raw unmodulated waveforms have a lot in common, but the PWM, the FM modulation, the sync and all the extra waveform sculpting features can make it sound very different. In other words, the features make the major difference in sound. Beside that, you can never replace a Multifunction VCO with two Variable Sync VCOs. The exact same waveform start makes the Multifunction VCO perfect for mixing them together and achieving waveforms that you cannot replicate with Variable Sync VCOs.
