Wow, so "IF" we have this right this vlog is after your 2 week Disney Cruise across the Atlantic. Then, apparently you flew back to the UKGB. Now you have flown back to Florida for Christmas AND you have another Disney Cruise coming up. Amazing! Brilliant vlog Claire. I am so glad you liked staying at the Radisson Blu. I am booked to stay there next month. lol. So you have made me really excited. What terminal did you fly from? Was it T1? I am not that familiar with Manchester airport. But very much hoping I don’t need to take all my gadgets out my bag…….it makes security SO much easier. I am glad Virgin gave you some airmiles for your screen not working. Still annoying though. xx

Aww thank you so much! Yes oh my gosh just loved staying at the Radisson Blu! I think we are going to book it for next month too! That was Terminal 2 but you'd think it would be similar in T1 so fingers crossed you don't have to take everything out! Yeah was really thankful for airmiles as it will go towards the next flight haha. Hope you have an amazing trip next month!

Love a travel day! I’m flying with Virgin in June and I think I’ll be on one of the old A330s. They definitely need a refresh! Especially as the flights aren’t cheap…

Definitely not quite as luxurious or nice but as close I’d recommend the holiday inn or the ibis budget across the road from terminal 2 for easier of location walk across the main road and your in the car park out side the terminal, we found with the premier inn it wasn’t great if we were being dropped off or on the train so these are great location for either

I’ve stayed at the Raddison Blu twice. It is so convenient - hence the price. I used Tesco Clubcard points once to get £60 off.

We treated ourselves to a stayed at the Radisson many years ago for our first ever fight with Virgin. It was so convenient with access to what was the old Terminal Two. The hotel was lovely but I do remember that our accessible room had the bed on an angle that meant I couldn’t pass the bed in my wheelchair to look at the airport from the window. Your food on the plane looked good especially that sausage. Nice hire car even with the big dent on the door panel. Lovely to see your Mountain Dew waiting for you so early in your trip …😂😂 Not to sure about your obsession with Hersey’s chocolate. Definitely not for me. However the yard of Snickers was very appealing. 😂 Despite the problems with aircraft the 6000 airmiles was a bonus. I had a similar thing on our last trip in 2023 when my screen wasn’t working. I got 15000 miles probably because we were in Upper Class and then I couldn’t connect to the in-flight internet I also got a £100 in-flight shopping credit. We’ve yet to use the miles though. So nice start to your latest series.
