Gonna be honest, I don't know what I expected when I listened to this album for the first time, but I sure as shit know I didn't expect what was to become one of my favorite albums of all time to bless my ears. I didn't expect an album that would make me smile from ear to ear, would make me sway to huge synths as much as it did, to get lost in the sound as much as I did. I didn't expect to find an album that would mean so much to me. But now I'm here, this album having been on repeat for months on end, and I still haven't gotten tired of the sheer emotion and love that drips off of every single track in this album. In a world where there isn't much room to just feel things, it's nice to have these sounds always around to serenade and make me *feel*, no matter what emotion it is. Somehow, Skye's music just seems to blindly stab you somewhere in the heart and proceeds to dig out a random emotion for you to spend 45 minutes to an hour with. It makes me feel more human. I guess music is just good at that in general, but this album is something different. It's a kind of magic that I don't think will ever stop healing me. Thank you for this gift, skye, and I'm excited to see where your journey brings you.

This is definetly the best album i've heard this year and one of my favorite albums in general. While "blood rushing like current through a powerline" was already amazing and incredible this is just so much better in terms of depth, variety, ideas, and execution. I hope you keep finding enjoyment in making music and expressing yourself through this beautiful art form.

I am past the point of caring who reads this, I just want to talk about the effect skye's music has on me. I will phrase it as if skye himself is reading because it's easier that way. Your music fills me with an impetus to create something, and I love it. Never before has music made me feel the way yours does. I think it's in the relationship you establish with the listener, I feel like a witness to something important for you, I feel close to you through how sincerely you sing, and in the practical poetry of your lyrics. However, I also know that there's someone else you're talking to, that those words aren't for me to hear, there is a connection I'm not a part of. I think it's that juxtaposition between being the third party and the attachment I feel that makes your art so impactful to me. I also believe that another reason for this impulse is that your music feels like it should go with something, by that I don't mean that it's lacking in any way, but instead that it melds perfectly with other mediums. In my opinion, this is why your Blender animations fit so well with your songs, or why your music is so popular in Beat Saber (it would probably be used in Geometry Dash, were it on Newgrounds). This isn't all I want to say though, I want to talk about this album in particular, from which all this stems from. As far as I can tell, this album is about an abusive relationship, and it executes that perfectly. Every song seems to explore a different facet of the fallout from this relationship. I like that we learn nothing about the other person, the "you". While I found that jarring at first, I eventually came to enjoy trying to piece to together who this person was. I never really listen to albums as a standalone thing, but wow I could sit through this a 100 times and still find new, intricate threads of meaning woven into your songs. I hope this doesn't come of as creepy or weird, I just love your music and I'm just so happy that you can create like you do and share it to us. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart, or as close as I get to that through letters on screen, for choosing to *make* stuff.

Will we see more episodes of the short animated series that announced the album? I'm starting to notice parallels between some songs and episode 1. How would you say your music has evolved over the course of your career? I've so far only listened to Blood Rushing Like Current Through a Powerline and What Do You Want!, and even between those two, there are stark contrasts. Anyways thanks for replying, your music has really had an impact on me and I'm glad that you take the time to read comments.

when i first heard curses on the teaser trailer, i had gotten massive chills and cried all in under 30 seconds, it's so raw and genuine and fed into my desperate need for escapism. thief! had also hit me like a truck. I really struggle with processing emotion, going through this album was an wonderful experience and helped me let out what I otherwise wouldn't have been able to. an album hasnt hit me this hard since pr's worlds (2014) thank you for this 💜please never stop creating, and I very much look forward to seeing more world-building with those two from the teaser

I seriously can't decide what song is my favorite! Curses is such an amazing opener to the album and has that signature saw sound that got me hooked on you in the first place, but Spells is one of the most vocal heavy track you've made so far and you sound so good in it!
