I was in the U.S. Air Force at the tail end of the Vietnam War, stationed at Lowry AFB, Colorado. When Saigon was being overrun by the North Vietnamese & the U.S. Forces were leaving, many South Vietnamese were being taken onboard the huge American transport airplanes. Some adults, but many simply handed their children to the soldiers in an effort to save them from what would have been a sure death once the N. Vietnamese took possession of Saigon. The N. Vietnamese blew up some of the airplanes while they were still on the runways. American troops went through the blown up planes and loaded all survivors on to two large planes and headed for the U.S.A.In America a search was on for large medical facilities that still had all the medical equipment but just were not being used at the time. In Denver, Colorado where I was, there was a hospital that met their requirements. A call went out to the Air Force base for anyone who had any experience with taking care of babies and small children & some knowledge of medicine to volunteer. I grabbed my fiance and 4 of our friends and we were taken to the hospital. They gave each of us a room with 4 to 5 babies to take care of. Now these boys I took with me didn't know how to take care of a puppy much less a child. I showed each one how to change their diapers, how to feed them, hold them, burp them. These children were in bad shape. Little hands, feet, arms, legs blown off and burned. We spent the next four days around the clock caring for them & the babies changed, as they were processed by the doctors and nurses and being sent on to other medical facilities for long term care. We got to take a short break every now and then to go to the bathroom, grab a coffee & a sandwich & step outside for a cigarette & a breath of fresh air. None of us slept. One of the boys came back from break to discover one of his babies was gone & he was asking who took his baby. I had to tell him the baby had passed away while he was on break. He was so upset that he could barely continue, but I told him his other babies needed him & he went back in. As I was heading outside for a cigarette, I saw a young Vietnamese girl about 5 yrs. old sitting in some chairs. I sat down beside her and started trying to talk to her. She did not appear to have any wounds. She showed no sign that she even knew I was there. She was in shock. I just kept talking to her, though I am sure she did not understand English. I was so sad to see her like that & I was so tired from the long time we had been up, so overcome by all the pain of the children I'd been caring for, I put my hand on her knee & started crying. We sat like that for a few moments when suddenly she leapt into my lap trowing her arms around my neck and started crying. Suddenly a doctor & nurse appeared and wanted to know what I had done to the little girl to make her cry. I told them what had happened. I said I hadn't meant to make her cry. They said, oh no we are not mad at you. They said that the little girl had not spoken, cried, eaten or drank anything since Saigon & that there were others in the hospital just like her. They said now that they knew what I had done to get through to that little girl they would try the same thing on the other children. They let me go back in to my babies and soon they had processed all the children and we were told we could go back to our barracks. I got a commendation for that but lost it over all these years. I have never forgotten that experience. Nobody on earth should have to suffer the horrors of war, especially children, innocent babies. Yet wars continue all over our planet & humans still suffer. I think it is time the women of our world take a stand against war. I'm fairly sure it is not women and children starting wars. We certainly pay the price for the wars men start.

Very good subject. However, she needs to get a table with more space so she can move around. From our camera angle you can see that she misses many extractions. She needs to get a wash cloth to clean off her fingers occasionally so she doesn’t spread bacteria from one site to the next. Maybe slow down a bit to be thorough. Overall, well done.

Good work on the New York Yankee fan or maybe he just likes their logo. You always do an exceptional job around the mouth. Not very many spas-videos show that part of the face being done. That area is such a tender area, yet you don't shy away from cleaning up. Many of your clients probably come in to get the "big" acne cleaned, but you try to get as much as you can, or they can let you. I think if they would return in a timely manner and keep a regular routine with you, you could help them have healthier skin. Good skin can't be achieved in one day. 👍😷😎❤
