Side note if you take the rom micro memory card with Linux out the device will not power on. I don’t know why people reviewing these devices don’t let anyone know this. The other micro sd card holds the games.Dope review I got mine on Saturday.

It bricks it or won't work as long as it isn't in 🧐 basically if I take it out but put it back in will it be fine after 🤔 how would I add roms if I don't take card out , I don't like plugging my device when adding downloads I just like to add it to the card only so I don't put the system itself a heavy risk

@@tayvaun09 basically that slot is used for the rom storage, you can take it out and add to it additional files, but make sure that mini sd is placed back in. That is why many people could not turn the device on, they removed the rom mini sd. I had to do some digging because I removed it and couldn’t power the device only realizing afterwards that one was rom, the other one held the games.

nobody understand how crazy this tech is. i took solar panels camping with me, and we were able to play SNES multiplayer with bluetooth controllers on a projector screen in the middle of the forest. pro tip: don't play silent hill alone in your tent while everyone is asleep.

For DS I figure you know by now but in case for everyone the R2/L2 buttons fluctuate between DS top screen, bottom screen, both screens.

I feel like the 35XX has way more charm/appeal, though I can see how the sticks might be helpful in playing PS1 for example.

more than just PS1. a lot of games use the d-pad because that was the physical limitation at the time, but are much better suited for a joystick. like early racing games. sega rally championship on sega saturn, for example. i almost went with the 35XX but the touch compatibility for DS games is needed for me, plus i don't like the body shape of the 35XX (the asymmetrical bottom, where only one of the bottom corners is rounded). The RG353V looks like a more well thought out design. i see absolutely zero reason to only allow one hand to be comfortable on the device, and even less reason to put the speaker directly under that hand. then there is the ugly font they chose for the button labels...as if I didn't already know what they were.

it supports save current status at any time, not depends "Save" function in games. if you like , you can save when mario is jumping .

The clear black one looks amazing, but the RG353PS is a lot more comfortable with identical specs and the grey version on that is beautiful. I would ignore the RG353V and the RG353P as Anbernic is never very good with Android. Playing DS becomes a bit more difficult without the touch screen, but for those, get a DSi or 2DS XL. For PSP, get a Vita. Where the 353VS or 353PS excel is connecting them to a TV. Then they become a fully functional main retro console.

Anbernic’s Android is easily replaced. I wound up getting the 353P instead of PS for the emmc and 2gb RAM. Glad I did.

OTG connects usb controllers and other things like external hard drives. I got the one with touch screen and dual os. The only weird issue I have is no Sega Saturn games seem to work but most Dreamcast games work with no problem. How did you get the vertical arcade upright, every time I try it automatically puts them sideways and I have to use an external controller
