I liked Tamlin in the first book and I felt that in the second the author made him toxic to introduce the new love interest which I found annoying, the same thing happened in Shatter Me only there I disliked Adam. It's just a cheap trick to dispose of the first guy. I always found this kind of writing superficial

I hated Tamlin from the start. I almost DNFed the book many times but I struggled through. I almost didn't buy the second book because book one was so bad. I finally did and was very happy with book 2 and I defiantly loved Rhysand. Book 2 and 3 were good but books 1,4,and 5 are a struggle to get through.

I definitely wasn’t on board with Tamlin as the main love interest either, but yet still had a hard time with it when Feyre left for the night court. Glad I pushed through and I loved the series! - Ruby

The blogs sound like a bunch of babies , like it’s a story, and I’m sure the book was written perfectly like it was meant to be. Seems like they’re just trying to take away the magic aspect and rephrasing it as abuse. . Everyone knows Tamlin had his issues but sheeesh , dissecting every move of his and turning it “toxic” is just a joke . Lol takes the fun out of the “magic” aspect of the story .

Many people have tried to claim that Tamlin changed so much between book 1 and book 2 so I think the main thing these bloggers are trying to point out is that he didn’t change, the signs of who he was were there all along! - Sam

this is dumb- its not taking any context what so ever its just an ai generated superficial reading of certain parts of the book. Feyre was a stupid idiot human just like they accused her of being, she did very dumb things all the time she never listened.
