Late eighties-yeah about 1988 was when this song came out&I had been listening to smooth jazz about 2 years then the former WLVE-Love 94-(93.9fm) in south Fla.Went of the air December 26 2008!!! Bring back the smooth jazz radio stations! Had one for a short while a 104.3 fm out of West Palm Beach but one day it was a sports talk station-"BUMMER"!!!!!!!!

Song came out in 1988, was commonly played on the extinct smooth jazz station in my city. RIP Nick.

About 4 years ago we lost our smooth jazz station in Lansing,Michigan too. I recall telling them I waited 25 years for a station like theirs. After a couple of years it was gone. I rarely listen to the radio anymore. My new bass player used to play in West Palm Beach.

I received my re-education in what music was from WJSZ in Buffalo, NY. I'm in Toronto and luckily radio signal was strong enough to reach us. What great times they were back then especially at first sound. An amazing experiencing to hear such a different sound from the radio; needless to say I have been a fan since. AA are great. Not many can replicate the sound or synergy these two had.

I remembered this melody since the age of 6 having never known who recorded it. I only remember listening to it on CD101.9 in NY and the melody stuck with me for the next twelve years until I came across it online. One of my all time favorites!

I read a blog on you tube, some correction worker in California said that in the jail/prison he worked, when the prisoners in the evening after being brought inside for the night would get loud&somewhat routy, he would start playing smooth jazz&they would all settle down a pay attention to the music!!!! Like the color pink on a wall has shown that angry/aggitated folk will calm down!!!
