For me its one of the deepest line bts ever writes, making fake love one of my favorite song (top 10). Its a bit hard to get it when you have never been in a toxic relationship (all the lyrics in fake love talks about toxic relationship). I will try to explain (im not very good) The line represents how trap you and delulu you are in a toxic relationship. You love the person but the person isnt for you. The person doesnt love you for what you really are and instead of leaving that person, you create a new you to please the person. Thats what "love" can make you do. Trying to erase your own personnality to fit what the other person wants, what the other person would want you to be. You cant be yourself so you cant be happy. But you still want to keep going on because you have that hope/dream that everything will be better if you keep doing that. Thats what a toxic relationship is. The more you are in it, the more you get hurt but you cant get away (house of cards lyrics also describe it). "I grew a flower that cant be bloomed in a dream that couldnt ever come true." The flower is you. You wanted yourself to bloom in the relationship because of your illusion of it being a real love. The dream is the relationship. The flower (you) cant bloom (be happy/become someone of your own) because the dream (relationship) cant come true (its an unhealthy one). Because a good relationship is the one which make you full, independant and the one which allows you to be fully yourself and help your growth as a person, not stopping/changing it. The whole song and its lyrics is the realization of someone who was trapped in an unhealthy relationship and was forced to act like someone he/she isnt. The person realize it wasnt true love, because no matter how much you love someone, you need to be yourself, dedicating some love for yourself before loving and dedicating yourself to someone else. Because making yourself someone else doll, loosing your own values and personnality in process because of a relationship mean it wasnt real love nor a good relationship. It was fake love.
