Livestream issues: you can't anticipate everything, especially with electronics. I was presenting at an international conference with a room filled between 9500~10,000 in the session before lunch. The 1st on the panel hit something on his way out that messed up the video and audio on the computer. Basically the presenter could not see what was on the screen, and if he could, people couldn't hear the presentation. After 5 minutes of fumbling around, I offered to go out of order while they got the techs to figure it out. I did it in the time allocated: I think folks stuck around to see the show. I had memorized the talking points, and kept count of the slides and kept the conference on schedule. That might not sound much like NAMM, but I did get a standing ovation, the loudest of the day. Point is, TAS had no idea of the issues until they were in it. They still delivered. Thanks Jason, Jeremy, John and all. It was almost as good as SBS, but then, I bought stuff from you on that day. The part with Mr. HOOVER and the Rice dreadnought is irreplaceable and beyond words. Thanks

You guys crack me up, you're so humorous. The problems in the US are so simialar to the issues we have in the UK... Or maybe it's just that blokes of a certain age get fed up with B/S, stupidity and silliness. I'd love to buy an instrument from you guys but the 4000 miles or so from here to Missouri is a bit off putting!

#NAMMIT You did amazing work under difficult circumstances. My best moment from your coverage was you guys playing on a street corner with Dana Bourgeois enjoying every second. 👍🙂👍Worst? Whatever that speech from the Martin booth about buying BMWs was. Somebody needs to explain social media to those guys😮🙄

For what its worth, I enjoyed your live streams immensely during NAMM. It was the way people like me could attend NAMM and get a basic understanding of what it was like. TAS rocks! Cheers! Scott

To be honest, I had never heard of NAMM before getting to know TAS and their channel. I can't thank TAS enough for all they do to educate and inform their audience. Yes, it was loud. Yes, the bandwidth was less than adequate. All of that was beyond their control. They toughed it out and did the best they could with what they had. TAS did not disappoint, far from it! I tuned in each day to their live streams. The entire TAS crew deserves a standing ovation for a job well done. As far as this consumer is concerned, TAS went above and beyond and continues to do so. I thoroughly enjoy their content daily, and I appreciate all the hard work. It really shows their commitment to their customers and the industry they are in. Thank you again TAS! 👏👏👏👏👏

I enjoy watching your NAMM Specials. It was tough for you this year with the excess noise. I still enjoy watching your coverage. Thank you all for being there and sharing your experiences with all of us.

Jason - I've NEVER worked for Fox News, CNN, ABC, NBC, or CBS... But I think you all did an amazing job considering everything you had to deal with. Always cracks me up all the so called "experts" who love to name drop, thinking it will make them look important, and that people should care about their opinion or critiques. Just keep doing what you're doing!

You guys do a great job. Keep up the good work. As for Taylor that's pretty pitiful. I have owned a bunch of guitars, never had a Taylor and with that kind of attitude probably never will. And......Yes it was way way to loud.

The NAMM internet access was brought to you by Taylor. Perhaps KY3 could loan you their satellite van next year?

Well, I learned I don’t need to go to NAMM. The noise and commotion seemed deafening. Seems they should have separate rooms or halls for live presentations by musicians. Keep that off the sales floor. Keep up the good work.

People that fuss about your Livestream are the ones that make every mic scream on a open stage. Taking " Chocolate " to see Mr Hoover was amazing.

I appreciate the effort to show us NAMM. It takes a special type to film in the middle of a crowd like that. Kudos to Trent wearing that exoskeleton rig that looks like he’s had a spinal injury. I hope I get to help carry equipment next year. Every channel I watched said it was way too loud.

You talk about Taylor Guitars and their attitude. Taylor Guitar no longer exists. The new people at Taylor and their approach to sales is a turn off for me. Taylor is trying to sell direct and cut out the dealers. Time will tell how that works for them.

Take an SPL meter or use one of the cellphone aps for spl and report out the level at the front of each companies booth to shame them. If your ears are ringing, they have been damaged, period. Not funny.

Hi fellas, could anyone tell me with a 3 piece back construction, is it a manufacturing fault if its not quite central?. I've noticed on my 3 piece back dread that it's not online with the centre line of the back. It's almost half an Inch to the left of centre?
@AcousticShoppe7 ай бұрын
Quite possibly, it depends on the manufacturer's policies. I'd imagine that's not intentional.

I appreciated the live streaming, and hey, it can only get better! You guys are the James Brown of music stores, hardest working group of folks in the biz. NAMM absolutely can increase speed, coverage, and bandwidth, they just have purchase some temporary dedicated line access (or similar) from one of the big telecom or wireless provider. This is a must if they want to provide for the content creators. It can and will happen if they think it's worthwhile.
