I enjoy witnessing the growth of the entire TAS family, growing across the globe. Wonderful music and people all. Sounds great and smells like love and honor. Don’t let it pass you by. Semper Fi

I’m coming in post live here. But was wondering, can we call the trip home from The Cali. NAMM, essentially, “the silence of the NAMMs”? lol, great job @ NAMM this year guys 🙂👍

What is the nut width on the e6lgss? I know spec says 1-11/16 but you responded to a comment on the namm video that it was 1-3/4? A wider nut lg type is a dream guitar for me
@johnchapman4232Күн бұрын
It's a 1 3/4"

Fred from martin showed bracing on the D-28 and the hd-28 for 2025 and the bracing was different between the two. Fred said there is like 125 different bracing patterns at Martin.

Spent 2 days at NAMM... Furch Mahoganies, Boucher Figured Sapelle's, Fenech 1000 year old top, and the double neck Martin all blew me away. What blew you away?

Everything you listed but add some Bedell in there! This was such a good NAMM Show!

I got to play the Bedell Mahogany from "the tree". I appreciated the history, but the juice wasn't worth the $24,000 squeeze

So how many guitars were casualties of the 18% RH?

to all of our favorite all-knowing acoustic flat-top guitar man-splainers: why the red dots in new martin model bridge pins?
@AlexA99423Күн бұрын
I asked myself that too. Maybe because somebody had a can of red paint for the holes? I'd have gone for MOP, but I don't hate it.

Those are the Martin liquid metal Luxe bridge pins. Their newest pins.
@AlexA99423Күн бұрын
@@lh6042 It would be interesting to hear an A-B comparison with a regular set, wouldn't it?
@lh6042Күн бұрын
@ haha yes. They are pricey.
@johnchapman4232Күн бұрын
These are actually bone pins. Red dots have been on D-28s for quite a while .

Is it me or are the headstocks on the HD-28 lighter than the D-28? That HD-28, which I could hear better, sounded Amazing!!

Oh Corey had nothing to worry about, the Chiefs weren’t ever going to lose, the refs always see sure to that. 🤷♂️😉
