This video was an excellent production for what your company stands for and thank you for your transparency. You have strived for perfection your whole life and now we all reap the benefit from it, so for you Chad and the entire Analogue Production family from you all the way down to the forklift drivers and everyone in between, stand up and take a bow because you have earned the public’s trust, one record at a time and I wish you and your entire staff continued success and you have earned a customer for life.

Chad, This a "great" overview of you and your staff...and company. I remember buying the mono Hendrix box set while surfing the web in Eskisehir, Turkey, one night years ago. I had NO idea about you and your company. I figured that anyone who would go through all the hassles of bring out this great Lp could not be all bad. Since then I have purchased a lot of your products. If I was still teaching high school I would show this video to my sociology/anthropology classes, I told my students if you want to be the best at what you love you have to go to the person(s) who are the best. If one wants to be the best at record production it looks like Kansas is the place to go. Again, thank you and your staff for all you do for us music lovers. Mr. Pete--------> aging hippie

Over my career in the motion picture industry I’ve worked on a lot of projects including industrial films but I never thought I would sit here and watch one with such fascination and enthusiasm, this documentary about this passionate record company is really rich, it goes deep, all grooves lined up not a single skip scratch or pop in the lot. Cheers to Chad and a great team! As I watched this I was thinking of Neil Young, Eddie Vedder and others who insist on high quality old school analog recording and vinyl pressing. I am certain they’ve seen this documentary and feel the same as us who are writing comments here. HM, filmworker and a longtime vinyl collector: Jazz, Latin, folk blues, World, reggae etc.

I've been a fan of QRP and AP since they started. When I dumped my massive collection of LP's last year, I kept all of my AP pressings...they are just to good to be records, right. If they had been making records like this back in the 1980's, the LP would never have fallen out of favor in the first place.

Acoustic Sounds has quite an operation. I had the opportunity to get a brief tour of everything last week when I passed through Salina, thanks to a friend of mine who works for Chad. Aside from seeing all the operations and Blue Heaven Studios (including TML), the best part was getting an overall feel of a company that is dedicated to keeping good sound alive, whether it's through their LPs, reels or SACD releases, or their curated vinyl vault where they resell collections they have purchased.

This is something that I would like to be treated by youtubers when AP steps in the stream with some youtuber. Chad talking about things he does and future projects. The rest of the questions coming from the so-called experts are just words, words, words from consumers and they can keep them in a separate video. If they get an interview with Chad, it would be nice if they show up with actual questions. Today’s interview was inapropriate from my perspective. All that youtube heard trying to get a reaction from Chad was just wrong. They should have prepared more if they wanted to address “the group” questions.

The video is awesome and respect for what you are doing and on what high level you are producing. 🙂One of my favorite LPs from you is "Ella and Louis" 45rpm (AP-4003) and "Satchmo Plays King Oliver" (APJ 5930). However, I experienced a dampener of enthusiasm with the Miles Davis "Kind of Blue" LP UHQR: my copy had pressing errors (I was by no means the only buyer who complained about this, the problem was well known), the LP was shipped anyway and unlike the customers in the US, who got their copy replaced without any ifs and buts and for free, this was the total nightmare for me as a European customer, as you only got the record replaced with high costs and additional purchase ... so, the returning policy of Acoustic Sounds is not really customer-friendly other companies can do better! Well, just for those who want to know: I decided against a replacement (I simply didn't want to invest again about the same amount in a replacement LP...) and now live with a press defective, expensive Miles Davis LP, which I didn't listen to a second time, because I was so disappointed by everything. Sorry, but I just had to get rid of that now - with all the other praising here!

Many in the US got refunds as well after going through two or three or four replacement copies that were all the same.
@vinyl_marmalade

@@VideoArchiveGuy yeah, I know, but outside the US it's different: you have to return the LP at your own expense, buy something again for at least 50$💰, then pay again for shipping and customs, that means you end up with 150$ for the replaced LP plus for something you didn't want in the first place and then you don't know if the LP is ok or if you have to throw another 150$ in the air - that's just not worth it in any way and is complete bollocks 💰
