Love these! And everytime I see a Chad you tube, I end up ordering something I hadn't thought about and even more, enjoying the hell out it once I get it. I am smiling looking at this one because I have most of the under the radar ones and top sellers. So grateful. It's all good. Chad doesn't lie!

So many greats on that list that Chad shares. Sound Of Jazz is one of my all-time faves. All of the SRVs are phenomenal. Ben Webster's stuff. Ellington. Son House. There are some new ones that Chad mentions that I have to check out. Thanks for the vid, Chad!

I waited and waited for Gregg Allman - Laid Back. Started thinking it just wasn’t going to get a repress and eventually found one on Discogs for a reasonable price. Now it’s in stock again and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who doesn’t have a copy. Beautiful album and this version sounds amazing.

I would love to see a SPARS code on all records sold at Acoustic Sounds. Most people I know that are into vinyl are into it because of the analog sound. I know you can kinda read between the lines on AS, but an explicit rating would be very helpful.

Hi from England As Covid messed up the human race over the past 2 years i started to spend more time on KZbin looking at channels that posted videos of subjects i was interested in. I love everything from films and music from the 60's, 70's and some 80's and The Bond Franchise Now we have worse news - RUSSIA/UKRAINE so i am spending even more time on KZbin looking at channels who post and talk about VINYL ALBUMS in general. My late parents had a small collection of VINYL. Actually it was my mother's collection as it was in the main Frank Sinatra whom she loved the best, to Shirley Bassey. Mainly 60's albums and a few from the late 50's. I still have the collection as i love the RAW SOUND of VINYL. I have added more to my collection over the last 5 years from Frank, Shirley,, Mel Torme, Herp Alpert etc. For me i have always been a FAN of ELVIS so i have started my own collection and now have 12 albums. 5 of them are from Vintage shop in England and the ELVIS Back In Nashville that was released last November but the rest are from ETSY sellers across the pond from the East Coast to West Coast. Where i live i have lots of Vintage/Charity Shops but i never see any ELVIS. Plenty of Cliff Richard, Engelbert and even Tom Jones. Ha Ha. If asked what would be my favourite ELVIS song my reply would be ALL OFD THEM and OH I DO MEAN ALL. My next door neighbour since 1978 has in his attic boxes of VINYL from the 60's to the 80's and it has not seen "the light of day" for around 20 years. I would love to see what is in the collection and i do remind him of this but to get into his attic would be dangerous and would need someone more agile than him or me. He may have some "rare" vinyl😊😊😊👍👍👍🎵🎵🎵

Hi Chad, Now that the Bill Evans box set is going to be pressed. before I spend 900 on this 45 version, is there any talk of this also coming out in a 33 box set. For me personally, I would rather not have to flip these records every 10 to 15 minutes. I already have several of your pressings in both 33 and 45 ( the same record) and so far have not been disappointed with the 33 pressing. So please also consider putting this out in 33, so I can cancel my 45 preorder and sign up for the 33 instead. One observance I have noticed on all of the 45 pressings I have got from Analogue Productions: For most of these albums, there is so much dead wax on each side, why not consider putting an extra song on each side and only having 3 full sides. In some instances the recording space almost equals the dead space. Just a suggestion.

did anyone here ever hear of "pre-emphasis" on early compact discs?? you always learn something new in this audio hobby^ ain't it strange that compact discs mastered from 1983-1986 sound (mostly) better than discs mastered today? (no "loudness war", no overuse of EQ's, no "no-noise filters") Chad, I love vinyl too, but I think we need a compact disc resurgence with greatly mastered compact discs too !! By the way, Stop the Loudness War !!!

It is now out-of-print and we only have a few left. As our stock gets lower, the price will increase. We had it available for $55 for approximately 8 years. We encourage people to buy these albums as soon as we release them. For many reasons, people do not order when they come out and wait until they're out-of-print before they order and get upset when the prices go up or worse yet, we run out. We do not have licensing rights in perpetuity, I wish we did. If $75 is more than you want to spend, there are other versions from other labels available. Always remember, you get what you pay for. We feel this record is worth every penny and when we totally run out, watch how high it will start selling for on eBay and Discogs.
@toddlilienthal2 жыл бұрын
@@Groover71 You must have missed part of the video. Here's the cliff notes for you: Acoustic Sounds says "go buy it before the price goes up". Customer goes to AS website to find that they already jacked the price above retail. The whole point of the video was to avoid this type of situation, so it is in fact clickbait, as a literal definition.
