It has been a bit of a journey to return to the guitar and creating again. I want to thank everyone for your patience and support. This song means a lot to me, and I recorded it in one of my favorite places where Cherry and I spent a lot of time with Maple. I put my whole heart into working on this video, and I hope that it may provide you with some comfort ❤️

Help, I can't even- the way Cherry looks up at the sky at 0:35 and almost seems to be smiling like she knows something we don't!😭Your dog is ridiculously photogenic and the whole thing is a masterpiece of cinematography and music. Such a beautiful autumn scene, the colors and lighting are amazing and of course so is the guitar strumming! Well done! There's something so nostalgic yet sad too about the song, I can really feel your pain and tell you put your heart into it. I'm afraid I'm a newcomer to this channel, this is actually the first video I've watched, but I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet and I wish you and Cherry the best in spite of your grieving. I dont know how many years I have been subscribed to you but I remember watching the video of Maple passing and was heart broken. Now with a lot of time passing I lost my family dog, Annie, a few days ago. Then all of a sudden this video pops up again and I think Im going to pick up my guitar again and hopefully use it to heal and grieve. This song hit really close to home for me. I lost my best 4 legged friend just over three years ago, November 30th was 3 years. This song made all the memories of him come flooding back to me all at once, and I started bawling. Thank you for sharing this wonderful, but in my eyes, sad, piece. This also reminded me of Maple’s escapades with you and all the beautiful music you played together, and then their passing. Never change, Trench. This really strikes a new chord with me today, a different one than it did when I first heard Maple passed away.. I lost a friend to a car accident a few months before you posted this. He was sitting next to me during the class where i first watched the 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' video. He's someone i shared music, laughs, and memories with... and so much more. I remember time spent showing him all of my favorite guitarists on youtube, showing him TheDoo, and so many funny videos. We'd laugh for hours. Grief is life changing. The last year or so before he passed I was so out of touch with my friends and busy working. It breaks my heart. I missed all of this. Maple seems present in the atmosphere, the trees, the sky, and the wind and Cherry is absolutely aware of Maple's presence. I enjoyed the company of two brother cats who were incredibly close. They talked to each other in silence and sat side by side for years after their other family members passed. I think of them all everyday and know they are with me still and I with them. Cherry definitely is in sync with Maple still. Hope you get another dog soon to keep Cherry company.

That's what makes these videos so incredibly endearing. The entire presentation. It would be very easy to make a similar video with a cute dog and a talented fingerstyle player. But it's that extra effort that gives these videos that magic. The cinematography, subtle edits, crisp audio in a quiet background and cool locations. Even something as simple as a quick b role shot of the dog adds a lot. That attention to detail gives it emotion. It's more art and less of just another nice KZbin cover.

My cat just got diagnosed with inoperable large cell lymphoma and hypothyroidism. We are devastated. Please help us pray for Belly so her chemo works and we can then get her treatment for hypothyroidism. She’s the Baby Belly as we call her and is a fighter but only can do so much herself. We need prayers for our Belly! Please help us pray. Thank you for everyone who’s praying and sending positive vibes for Baby Belly, she is still fighting and putting up a great fight! Her quality of life has been better than they expected so as long as she keeps fighting, we will keep fighting with her!

Today more than ever I got to know how it feels to lose your dog.. I wish there was a way out, I just wish I could hug him just once, feed him and never ever let him go, if he comes back just once, it's so painful. It's as if a part of me has gone with him forever and would never come back. I can only miss him now, think about him, see his pictures and videos but never touch him.
